MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

• Provide design and construction management services as directed by the Manager of Facilities Engineering. Develops Site LRP Space Strategy.

• May determine the overall energy usage at the entire site (specifically power). Works on CFT to develop Facilities Financial LRP.

• In order to establish operating parameters, knowledge of the use of manufacturing equipment and the number of shifts being worked is imperative.

• This can only be achieved through constant interaction with the operational managers.

• All operating conditions and environmental specifications required for GMP should be communicated clearly and understood by all concerned.

• The incumbent should have the ability to work closely with the different functional groups/trades in the Facilities Shop to communicate the scope of the work and to arrive at the correct budget and precise schedule for proper interaction and precise execution of the different functional groups.

• The position requires the ability to interact at the Corporate level with all the Corporate Engineering departments.

• At the external level, the position requires effective communication with outside engineering consultants, vendors and contractors.

• All engineering projects need to be communicated extensively with the consultants and vendors for proper costing and scheduling.

• All projects need detailed coordination through planning and implementation. This requires interaction and working with all levels from supervisory to non-exempt personnel.

Required Qualifications :

Education:

• Bachelors Degree (± 16 years) in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of plant engineering experience.

• In depth knowledge of HVAC equipment and its operation. 

• Good working knowledge of power termination, distribution and back-up generation

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, operations, or systems administration with a focus on DevOps practices and methodologies
• 5+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GPC
• Experience with configuration management tools, including Ansible or Terraform, including automating the provisioning, configuring, and managing infrastructure resources through the deployment of Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with building, automating, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools, including Jenkins and GitLab
• Experience in a scripting language, including Bash or Python

• Travailler au sein d’une équipe scrum d’environ 7 à 8 ingénieur(e)s

• Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe scrum pour répondre aux exigences du client/projet en provenance du gestionnaire de produits/gestionnaire de projets

• Collaborer étroitement avec d’autres équipes scrum situées au Canada ou dans d’autres sites dans le monde

Exigences minimales

• Diplôme universitaire (BS ou MS) en informatique ou dans une discipline technique connexe

• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en développement de logiciels pour des produits ou systèmes à grande échelle commercialisés

• Bon esprit d’équipe

• Maîtrise de JavaScript, de Typescript, de Node.js De l’expérience de projet réelle dans ces domaines de compétences est un atout

• Expérience dans l’utilisation d’AWS ou d’une plateforme infonuagique similaire à celle d’Azure. De l’expérience de projet réelle dans ces domaines de compétences est un atout

• Expérience des mises à jour et des résolutions à la fois orales et écrites avec d’autres partenaires et avec des membres d’équipe étendues

Responsible for the technical expertise of the Boston Production System, analyzing and improving system performance and stability including deployed devices and back office applications and progressing related engineering solutions. Provide technical guidance and leadership to field engineers and administrators. Provide assistance to external customers by diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems and helping customers use the published applications. Has familiarity with some of the following technologies: devices, back office enterprise systems (including financial transactions, reconciliation, payment processing, and customer services), database queries, and mobile applications. This position typically works under general supervision and direction and incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and some decision-making authority associated with the technical scope.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the program/project with technical issues.
• Support the project team in defining and documenting any issues and corrections found in the field.
• Deliver engineering solutions that meet budget, schedule, and agreed scope.
• Interface with customers on engineering requirements, issues, planning, and status updates.
• Serve as technical support for customers, supporting customer use of the system, technical presentations, discussions, and workshops.
• Support and monitor issue and software development work activities and status using tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Support defect identification and resolution and monitor test status using tools such as TestRail.
• Support collaborations with internal departments, customer representatives, third-party suppliers, and other stakeholders in support of issue resolution.
• Work with functional engineering managers to support customer needs with additional resources.

• Document all relevant details from the initial report of an issue, through troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.

• Bachelor's degree plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus six (6) years.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments

• 6+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness

• Experience writing scripts using tools such as Python, Bash, or Boto3

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer / Lead is a senior SQA role responsible for leading SQA efforts on Agile team(s) working to enhance State Street’s core custody platform.

As a Senior Software Quality Lead you will:

• Assume a leadership SQA role in assigned Agile Scrum/Kanban rooms with responsibilities to review and provide feedback to SQA team members and research and resolve complex issues/impediments utilizing proven problem-solving skills

• Perform code reviews from junior developers to prepare for production deployments.
