EEE is inviting applications for the position of Senior Research Engineer I. The Senior Research Engineer I (USRP and Experimental Platform Development) will be mainly responsible for the programming on Labview platform to support the USRP based wireless communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for USRP based wireless communication system building and corresponding platform programming.

• Have solid background on wireless communication, especially for antenna design and microwave transmission.

• Develop Labview based codes, and implement corresponding algorithms in wireless communication systems.

• Prototyping the SS-CPM/PD-NOMA and FH-SCMA/CD-NOMA algorithms into USRP-2974 with NI Labview and test its efficacy in the lab environment.

• To demonstrate the above algorithms in the laboratory with a minimum of 3 nodes, and evaluate the performance of the algorithms.

• Work with team members to ensure smooth integration of various subsystems.

• Document all processes and implementation.

• Manage tasks according to the project schedule.

• Work closely with PI, team members and collaborators to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones.

• Keep track of technology trends.

Job Requirements:

Skills

As our next TS/SCI cleared Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role with design, engineering, development, deployment, and use of software for the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) where we support our client’s mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the DoD and IC enterprise. We integrate off the shelf and new development efforts to sustain and enhance the NMEC architecture and by leveraging cloud-based computing, artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning (ML) and cross-domain transfer systems to provide cutting edge data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities to Defense and Intelligence Community members. The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow. The selected candidate will innovate in semiconductor packaging, focusing on metallization and wafer packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize plasma-enhanced metallization, vacuum coating processes, and leading R&D efforts in material science for device performance enhancement.

• Drive the development and implementation of advanced metallization techniques.

• Propose relevant vacuum coating solutions, conducting plasma simulations to refine processes.

• Oversee the transition from experimental designs to scalable solutions.

• Additionally, the role requires preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports to satisfy the stipulations of funding entities and corporate mandates.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.

• At least ten years of specialized post-doctoral experience.

• Expertise in plasma simulations (ANSYS, COMSOL) and a strong track record of research publications and successful grant applications are essential.

• Applicants must demonstrate effective collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings.

Position Description
Applicants should have at least a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering, or Computer Science/Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree and extensive industry or vocational
experience may also be considered. A strong background and teaching experience in one or more of the following areas is required: Software Engineering, Computing and Programming (Python, C, Object-oriented Programming, and Assembly Language Programming), Microprocessor, Computer Architecture, Internet and Mobile Services and Applications, Database Systems, Web Applications, Wireless Communications, Computer Communication and Networking, Cyber-Physical Systems, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, AI and Machine learning, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining/Analytics and Natural Language Processing.

Fresh PhD graduates would be considered but preferences are given to candidates with relevant working/teaching experience in universities.

Responsibilities
The successful candidates are expected to teach courses in the fields of Computational Systems and Engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Join HPCC as a DevOps Engineer and be part of our team that will help bridge development and operations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of software and services to staff and students of NTU.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline manual tasks, repetitive procedures, and workflows by implementing automation solutions (such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform). This encompasses the automation of build, testing, and deployment pipelines, as well as infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

• Manage and maintain the underlying infrastructure, with a primary focus on on-premises and cloud environments.

• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle, ensuring a secure and robust end-to-end process.

• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions (such as Grafana, ELK stack) to safeguard the health and performance of applications and infrastructure, promptly addressing and troubleshooting issues as they emerge.

• Optimize application and infrastructure performance through various techniques, ensuring that systems can handle varying workloads efficiently.

• Proficiently manage version control systems with GitHub, ensuring that all code changes are properly versioned, tracked, and documented.

• Work with container technologies like Singularity and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enable scalable and reliable application deployments.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of the software delivery pipeline.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Engineering, Science, or its equivalent.

• Minimum 6 years relevant experience, ideally in IT or higher education environment, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Software-Development, Linux and Open-Source Environment.

• Working Knowledge of using DevOps Tools and Experience in DevOps Environment is important.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills and is able to collaborate effectively with developers, operations personnel, and other stakeholders.

• Possess good analytical skill to efficiently identify and resolve issues and address the root causes of problems.

• Is passionate to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in the DevOps space
