Job Description:
In 2022, Airbus created Airbus Beluga Transport (AiBT) in Toulouse, France, to deliver outsized charter transport services to Airbus other divisions and external customers (civilian and military) with 4 to 5 Beluga ST aircrafts, in view of generating new service revenues.
Airbus Beluga Transport is an Airbus subsidiary.
To perform such transport missions, specific ground means and payload jigs are necessary. These toolings are designed and manufactured within the Engineering & Manufacturing team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As stream leader, you will join the Engineering & Manufacturing team and your tasks will include to: organize all the development activities linked to ground means including the integrated planning with the associated deliverables / organize manufacturing activities with respect to the transport milestones / manage the multi-functional team involved in manufacturing activities: business development, project management, design office, procurement, ground operations / manage the selected supplier in charge of the development and manufacturing / be responsible that all your deliverables meet the cost, quality, time and performance requirements / release progress report on time, costs, quality and performance.
The role requires travelling for business within and outside Europe.
REQUIRED SKILLS
5 years degree in Engineering or equivalent
5 years experience in manufacturing AND in project management AND in supplier management
Airline grounds operations background is a plus
Fluent in French and English
Open minded
