Mechanical Project Manager - Process Pipework and Plant Installations

6 Month Contract.
Salary Range: £260PAYE - £420CIS/Ltd per day.

Covering all the major industrial process sectors, working directly with industrial clients or as partners of specialised contractors or major engineering firms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical project manager - food process installations to join the company supporting a major new process pipework and plant installation project at Wymondham, Norwich, NR18 9RS.
Duties
As a suitably experienced mechanical project manager with food industry experience, you will be working on site at a food production facility in Wymondham, Norwich. With responsibility to project manage, through the complete life cycle from initial set up though to final completion, a process pipework and plant installation project, valued at £500k. Typical duties will include preparing estimates and prices for variations, managing the in house and subcontract resources allocated to the project, scheduling project programme, owning the P&L in areas of given the responsibility, compiling risk assessments and method statements for site installations, coordinating the preparation of final project documentation. Ensuring completion of the project to the customer requirements both on time and within budget.
About You
Based ideally in the Norwich you will need to live within a commutable distance of NR18 9RS.
Demonstrable experience of mechanical project management preferably within the food industry with particular knowledge of preparing quotations, coordinating labour, managing plant and materials and developing excellent client relationships, all to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The role will also require you to have a good working knowledge of welding, process pipework, stainless steel fabrication and the associated food processing plant and equipment.
