The Opportunity:

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide is hiring a Site Director at the Joint Base Andrews, Maryland location. The Site Director acts as the sole point of contact for Embry-Riddle at this location and is responsible for the academic and operational tasks of the Worldwide site. Duties include academic advising, budget, compliance, facility oversight, and University support (including community relations).

Job Responsibilities Include: 

Advisement & Student Services 

• Provide personalized advising and support for all assigned students 
• Assist students with course registration and degree planning 
• Counsel students regarding available options for financial aid, scholarships, tuition assistance, Veterans Affairs benefits, etc. 
• Proactively contact students upon admission, during enrollment, and at other critical times during their academic career 
• Enter and maintain accurate student records on university platforms to include Campus Solutions, Imaging, and Salesforce 

Administration & Site Management 

• Attend and facilitate local events to establish community contacts, promote ERAU programs, and connect with prospective students 
• Research local opportunities for recommendations to the Office of Professional Education and Business Development 
• Work with Senior Director to coordinate with the Scheduling Department and Advising Department on schedules for on-site instruction 
• Works with Senior Director to liaise with appropriate governmental authorities, industry and community leaders, and internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations 
• Develop, monitor, and control the fiscal year site budget 
• For sites on military installations, coordinate with the educational services office and productively interact with applicable Educations Services Officer

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• (3-5) years of work related experience

Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

• Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.

• Excellent customer service skills

• Working knowledge of office procedures and equipment

• Aviation background or experience desired

CACI seeks a talented individual to join our team as a Chief Systems Engineer supporting the Systems Engineering management and direction of a large program, within the Operations and Support Services Sector.

What You will Get To Do:

As a forward-thinking, technically minded Chief Systems Engineer, you will lead and provide direction to a team of System Engineers. The Team Lead will lead process improvement and implementation activities across several disciplines including configuration management, reporting software build and delivery, risk management, quality assurance, and customer engagement. Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed. Responsibilities include:

• Independently analyzing, and recommending alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.

• Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue

• Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation.

• Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.

• Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.

• Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more Systems Engineering Process Areas

• Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.

• Independently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a project.

• Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of a TS SCI with Poly

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience. OR

• A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience. OR

• A Master’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience. OR

• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.

• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification (CSEP) or Expert Systems Engineering Professional certification desired.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

The Chief Engineer is responsible for engineering operations and directing vendors and subcontractors. Clark Facilities performs complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. The ideal candidate must be able to work with limited supervision to monitor building system operations and performance. The Chief Engineer utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety
• Leads operations, assigns work orders, and/or provides technical and procedural training of coworkers and subcontractors
• Coordinates with Facility Manager to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience. 
• Create and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed the design reliability and their rated life. 
• Monitors building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client. 
• Oversees and inspects the work performed by engineering staff. Determines that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition. 
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. 

• Provides assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
• Conducts advanced financial analysis. 

Preferred Qualifications

• All candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance. Preference will be given to applicants with a current security clearance.

• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.

• Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 lbs. Must have the ability to operate an EMS and CMMS system. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make well-informed decisions.
• Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines.
• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and a minimum of seven years related experience and/or trade school training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
