This position is hybrid but located in Richmond, VA and is 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Building customer facing web applications using the latest React, GraphQL and TypeScript frameworks.
• Build micro services and RESTful APIs C# and .NET Core
• Drive and lead software design, developing standards and performing code reviews, that result in robust a code base that is efficient and maintainable.
• Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices.
• Develop comprehensive application testing procedures to ensure high quality applications for tens of thousands of users.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years experience working with JavaScript/React
• Demonstrated experience in architecting, designing and building large scale distributed, services-oriented systems and web applications in an agile environment
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• SQL and or MongoDB experience
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

The CACI team is looking to add an experienced Test Engineer to join their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. The Test Engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure that software requirements are met on multiple projects. You will also be responsible for all testing activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Will consider experience in lieu of degree

• Seven (7+) or more years related IT experience, with 3 or more years analyzing, designing, and implementing integrated testing solutions.

• Familiarity with any of the following is highly desirable: XML, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, VMware, information exchanges, client server, Object Oriented Development, Continuous integration, Automated testing, UML, Class diagrams, n-tier solutions

• Ability to write test documentation - Test Plans; Test Procedures; Change Requests; System Requirements Documents; Problem Reports, Discrepancy Reports

• Familiarity with Information Security best practices

• Ability to apply test estimation techniques to software development efforts

• Experience working with an open source or commercial version control systems like GIT, Mercurial, CVS, SVN, Clear Case

• Demonstrated experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases

• Must be a team player and work in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience interacting with the product Owner, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters and provide guidance on automation tools and testing methods to meet project specific needs.

• Thrive in a technically and geographically diverse team environment.

• Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:

• Automated testing experience.

• Familiarity on fundamental concepts of Continuous Integration and Automated Testing

• Technical Certifications, such as CSTE, CST, CSTA, CTFL, CTAL, CTEL Experience with program testing software, such as Microsoft testing tools, Selenium and/or Geb

• Experience using Jira and/or related Agile project tools and plug-ins

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated CM team

• Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach

• Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle

• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Design, develop, debug, and test of signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test software and DSP algorithms.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test software for Machine Learning applications.
• Enhancing and maintaining existing X-Midas and M2Extra tools which are used by signal analysts.
• Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Development of analytic signal processing tools.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• A background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory
• Experience programming in either Python, Java, C++, or any object- oriented or functional language
• Active TS
• Linux software development experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written products
• Exposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)
• There is no clearance requirement to begin employment.  As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
• 3+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science)
• Software Development skills with object-oriented languages
• Background digital signal processing an communication theory
• Linux software development experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

• Understanding of software defined radio systems:
  • Receiver architectures
  • Software channelization
  • Modulation/demodulation techniques
  • Spectral analysis
• Experience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radio
• Experience processing signals using Matlab, Octave, or another software tool suite
• Experience with telemetry systems
• Knowledge and experience of processing signals, including:
  • Error correcting codes
  • Digital video formats
• Knowledge and experience with target tracking systems
• Knowledge and experience performing machine learning techniques
• Experience in design, development, or testing of weapons systems
• Development of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessments
