When you join Design Group as a SrProject Engineer, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Architecture/Engineering Process Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Daily onsite support of a heavy industrial client in Cheyenne, WY
• Support large multi-disciplinary capital projects involving owners, general contractors, contractors, and system integrators
• Meet manufacturing, reliability, quality, safety and cost objectives
• Design and specify production line and facility layouts and as-built facilities in coordination with project teams, clients, and vendors
• Manage project tasks including budget, equipment procurement, scope, schedule, and documentation
• Coordinate start-up activities and plant personnel training
• Review construction specifications, as-built drawing, and O&M manuals and submittals
• Provide CAD support
• Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in facilities engineering for capital projects
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and process (MEP) engineers and technicians (preferred)
• Familiarity with design/build engineering and construction
• Familiarity with facilities document control systems
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication including generating reports and conducting group presentations
• A bachelor of science in chemical, electrical, civil, or structural engineering from an ABET accredited institution

The Engineering Technician’s responsibilities involve performing basic tests and experiments for process engineering.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of methods, policies, and procedures for processing and manufacturing customer products to industry accepted or customer specified standards and requirements
• Collect and analyze data
• Recommend corrective action for procedural, product, process, or design deficiencies

Role Description:

The Mainframe Security Engineering team manager directs and controls the activities of security engineers in the development, implementation, communication, monitoring and maintenance of the information security policies and procedures. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines. This individual provides state of the art technical expertise and support to client, IT management, and staff in assessing risk and the implementation of appropriate security procedures and products. The SWMA team will also provide support to modification projects upgrading the server, storage, and networks supporting the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). You will use your patch management experience to help optimize the software maintenance process and you will bring your proactive energy, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to manage time and projects effectively to improve the security and functionality of AFSCN systems, and, when required, support operational issues.

What You’ll Get to Do

As a Software Developer on the GEOINT Tradecraft Suite (GTS) team, you will work in collaboration with other developers to meet stakeholder requirements. You will work on a small team of engineers contributing to the identification, assessment, and integration of a wide array of technologies and processes. You will be asked to think creatively when it comes to designing, developing, integrating, and accrediting a wide breadth of commercial offerings and custom software solutions.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

CACI is looking for a Systems Administration Design Engineer for our Software Maintenance Action (SWMA) Team (e.g., scripting standard OS patch installs) for the Range, Communications, and Network segments that support the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). The SWMA team will also provide support to modification projects upgrading the server, storage, and networks supporting the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). You will bring your proactive energy, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to manage time and projects effectively to improve the security and functionality of AFSCN systems, and, when required, support operational issues. You will have the opportunity to develop skills on a wide variety of software and hardware as your team works with the customer to maintain and improve the AFSCN posture.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Patch management for the AFSCN mission systems
• Troubleshoot Windows OS and Microsoft application security patch installations and upgrades
• Troubleshoot Linux OS application security patch installations and upgrades
• Troubleshoot networking security patch installations and upgrades
• Create installation and rollback plans
• Communicate clearly and concisely in voice, written word, and graphics to conduct formal milestone customer briefings
• Install and configure systems at customer locations (approximately 25% currently anticipated)
• Support installation teams from central operational locations
• Assist in every day troubleshooting at the lab environment set up to mimic the AFSCN
• Coordinate closely with cybersecurity, networking, software, and test engineering teams
• Maintain and submit documentation in accordance with SWMA Procedure
