What You’ll Get to Do:

As the Senior Information Security Engineer, you’ll support software and systems engineering and interoperability engineering technical services to support the Government customer in their PDSS and PPSS mission for worldwide customers, including Program Executive Officers (PEOs) and their Project Managers (PMs) and Project Directors (PDs), Headquarters Department of the Anny (HQDA) and its components, and other Department of Defense (DoD) elements. Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving test strategies, test plans, and test execution for Ciena’s WaveLogic Optical Modem. Additionally, the candidate will support field activities and frequently interact with customers, PLM, and R&D.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans to validate customer use-cases and product capabilities
• Build test environment for test execution while considering potential and likely interactions across different features of the product

Key Role:

Conduct testing and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential threat vectors into systems and networks, develop exploits, and engineer attack methodologies. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, or full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with source code analysis and vulnerability identification
• Experience with processor platforms and instruction set architectures, including binary analysis
• Experience with computational hardware analytics and instruction set emulation
• Knowledge of multiple software programing languages, including C++, Python, and assembly, to understand critical software functionality of weapon systems
• Knowledge of hardware and software supply chain analysis
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Science, Technology, or Mathematics

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of protocols used in C4 systems and how to reverse engineer unknown protocols
• Knowledge of Field Programmable Gate Array analysis

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
