Main Responsibilities

You as the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing the shift maintenance team, taking ownership of performance and quality, achieving and maximising the efficiency of the process and delivering a preventative maintenance scheme for fixed and mobile plant whilst also proactive on the reactive maintenance of day-to-day plant operations. • Monitor and maximise productivity of processes, making cost effective use of resources, products and equipment. Identify ways to improve processes and quality
• Drive achievement of optimum Overall Operations Effectiveness (OOE) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
• Communicate performance targets and KPI’s to team through meetings, briefings and site objectives
• Supervision of maintenance activities along with strong knowledge of CMMS systems
• Complete plant (fixed and mobile) maintenance checks and inspections as required
• Undertake and/or review maintenance inspections and report defects (AAA)
• Monitor and report key successes and deficiencies across site (performance, product, equipment, people) to management, undertaking root cause analysis and calling out problems as required
• Support the control production-associated costs (including temp labour and overtime), reviewing these regularly with management
• Promoting the maintenance management system, ensuring the application of maintenance procedures, methods and best practices
• Maintaining Health and Safety rules and regulations and ensure all Safe Systems of Work are signed off and complied with leading towards a target of zero harm for personnel and contractors
• Lead, manage and develop a team, optimising engagement, and overall team performance
• Lead in resolving complex technical issues or failures as they arise, along with coordinated planned shutdowns
• Carry out supervisory duties in line with regulations, manufacturers guidance, company policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

As our Mechanical Project and SME Engineer, your key responsibilities will be executing a maintenance methodology to ensure that mechanical equipment operates at the highest operational efficiency, whilst supporting the vision to implement World Class Maintenance in the Linford operation. • Own and lead the implementation of a Risk Based Assessment programme for mechanical systems equipment, ensuring compliance ​
• Provide mechanical systems technical input in support of projects and plant modifications and projects to deliver legal compliance and business integrity requirements
• Ensure management of change practices are followed for all modifications, upgrades or project work to mechanical related systems on site
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates to systems along with collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve system performance
• Have a proven track record of successful people management, management of engineering operations, delivering CAPEX projects with an understanding of CDM regulations
• Promoting the maintenance management system, ensuring the application of maintenance procedures, methods and best practices
• Assisting the Engineering department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts
• Develop and improve the knowledge and skills of engineers, fitters and apprentices by providing training and support on Mechanical systems and functionalities
• Involvement with maintaining Health and Safety rules and regulations and ensure all Safe Systems of Work are signed off and complied with leading towards a target of zero harm for personnel and contractors
• Continuous review of plant availability and performance, Identifying gaps, root causes and subsequent improvement activity with proposing economic ways to extend the life of plant equipment or increase the mean time between failures
• Monitor and coordinate condition predictors for all critical equipment, whether this is by NDT or Condition Monitoring systems
• Evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job plans (from supplier’s recommendation if existing), create and update the corresponding inspection job plans, in coordination with the Engineering Planner
• Contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, implementing corrective actions, whilst leading RCA "Root Cause Analysis" interrogation for plant failures when required

Main Responsibilities

As our Electrical Project and SME Engineer, your key responsibilities will be executing a maintenance methodology to ensure that electrical equipment operates at the highest operational efficiency, whilst supporting the vision to implement World Class Maintenance in the Linford operation. You will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure seamless operation of systems and project engineering work.

Your responsibilities as our Electrical Project and SME Engineer will include (not exhaustive):

• Lead and own the 1 year rolling, and 3 - 5 year improvement plan for the assets
• Implement Written Schemes of Examination, assess equipment condition and suitability for further service and report the outcome to business area to comply with legal requirements and business goals
• Recommend repairs and advise the Engineering and Projects Manager on the restoration of “fit for purpose” condition, accept repairs and assign inspection intervals to achieve legal compliance and business goals​
• Own and lead the implementation of a Risk Based Assessment programme for electrical systems equipment, ensuring compliance ​
• Provide electrical systems technical input in support of projects and plant modifications and projects to deliver legal compliance and business integrity requirements
• Ensure management of change practices are followed for all modifications, upgrades or project work to electrical related systems on site
• Power system fault detection and diagnoses methods using both online and offline methods, historical data and simulation modelling
• Conduct routine maintenance and updates to systems along with collaborating with production and engineering teams to improve system performance
• Have a proven track record of successful engineering operations, delivering CAPEX projects with an understanding of CDM regulations
• Promoting the maintenance management system, ensuring the application of maintenance procedures, methods and best practices
• Assisting the Engineering department in achieving its budget targets through the efficient use of materials and replacement parts
• Develop and improve the knowledge and skills of engineers, fitters and apprentices by providing training and support on electrical systems and functionalities
• Involvement with maintaining Health and Safety rules and regulations and ensure all Safe Systems of Work are signed off and complied with leading towards a target of zero harm for personnel and contractors
• Continuous review of plant availability and performance, Identifying gaps, root causes and subsequent improvement activity with proposing economic ways to extend the life of plant equipment or increase the mean time between failures
• Evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job plans (from supplier’s recommendation if existing), create and update the corresponding inspection job plans, in coordination with the Engineering Planner
• Contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, implementing corrective actions, whilst leading RCA "Root Cause Analysis" interrogation for plant failures when required

You will have experience working with electrical systems, Siemens S5 & S7, Allen Bradley, Profinet and associated plant ideally with manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operation, repair and site inspection experience.

Qualifications / Requirements / Capabilities:

• BEng or MEng in a role related discipline, or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
• ESSENTIAL - 18th Edition
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment combined with heavy industrial plant experience
• Technical experience of preventive, predictive and systematic maintenance – Databases, CMMS and Project Software

As our Steam Systems / Compressed Gaseous Systems Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of pressure systems equipment and support regulatory compliance. Provide front line technical expertise on piping, vessel and heat exchanger systems in support of continued operation of the plant. • BEng or MEng in a role related discipline, or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
• BOAS Accreditation is preferred, but not necessary - you will be required to complete this accredited training as part of the role
• Knowledge of 17065 / 17020 of UKCA requirements under the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations (PESR) would be highly beneficial
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment combined with heavy industrial plant experience
• Technical experience of preventive, predictive and systematic maintenance

Job Title: Mobile commercial gas engineer

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £46k

I am currently working on behalf of a large FM and maintenance company, seeking an experienced and qualified commercial gas engineer. This will be a semi mobile based role covering 2 commercial properties, in the Maidstone. Ideally the candidate has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of commercial gas maintenance and minor remedial tasks .

As a Gas Engineer the post holder is responsible for planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to Commercial/Industrial boilers and completing inspection and gas safety check certificates .

Main duties will include:

• Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies and industry best practices.
• Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects.

• Support the field service team and upkeep and maintain the various internal operational processes.
