The Role
As a Processing Engineer you will be required to diagnose and solve equipment problems in a planned, cost effective manner, taking into account employee needs and customer requirements. You will act in accordance with current health and safety legislation, identifying best practice and giving guidance to others.

As an integral part of our team, your role involves fostering and nurturing relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring a deep understanding of their perspectives and requirements.
Your responsibilities encompass the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of all parcel handling equipment (PHE). You will oversee contractors and trainees under your supervision, providing hands-on training and professional development. Additionally, you will conduct scheduled mail searches and retrieve items during patrol that have either fallen off or become stuck in the system. Depending on your duties and experience, you are expected to execute the following tasks, either independently or with assistance:

Preventative and corrective maintenance of all PHE including:

- Belt conveyors, fixed, curved and extending;
- Roller conveyors, driven belt, line shaft and gravity;

A growing house builder currently have a requirement for a Development Engineer to support the technical team to ensure that Section 38 and 104 roads and sewers are designed, approved, and constructed to appropriate adoption standards and that all engineering aspects on the developments are executed proactively and effectively in line with the business's goals and objectives.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Assist the Technical and Commercial Departments in issuing tender drawings to contractors, assessing them upon return and engaging with pre award meetings.

Function and electrically safety test equipment upon its return from external repair and before its release to users. Assess the seriousness and implications of reported problems and respond appropriately to the urgency of the users request. Ensure that the users receive a high quality, prompt and efficient service and are kept informed of the progress of on-going and outstanding work. Where necessary, use skills, knowledge and understanding of the clinical applications of medical devices to assist the user with potentially faulty equipment that may still be attached to the patient. Apply specialised fault finding techniques to diagnose complex problems and make repairs down to component level using expertise, precision engineering techniques and fine control of tools and small components. Take responsibility for all tools and specialised test equipment within the post holders care and assist in ensuring workshop facilities are kept clear and well ordered. Act as Duty Engineer when requested and attend to urgent repairs immediately, distribute demand repair work to colleague engineers and return completed equipment to users. Be familiar with software in computer based medical equipment systems and microprocessor based equipment so that faults can be accurately identified and corrected. Appraise loan equipment provided for evaluation and advise user during trials of appropriateness for purpose and future maintainability. Be responsible in the care, use and maintenance of vehicles as required, and in the safe delivery of devices by whatever means. Raise orders for spare parts, the dispatch of repairs and engineer call-out dealing with subsequent financial queries regarding price verification and delivery of goods and services Ensure that stocks of any components and spare parts used, do not fall below agreed levels

Installation & Provisioning Engineer

Reporting into the Installation & Provisioning Manager, you will be responsible for creating Planned Engineer Works (PEWS) for the active installation and commissioning team and manage these with the NOC. You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring progress of a project and ensuring compliance. This role will be covering our Northern network region and as such, there may be a requirement to travel or stay away overnight as and when required.
What you'll do:
- Installation and termination of various cable types into cabinets
- Passive and Active equipment installation, Cat5e and 6
- Install Copper and Fibre cable up to 500 meters
- Commissioning and testing
- Good engineering knowledge of motorway communications technology
- Installation and provisioning of motorway communication cabling to enable equipment to be commissioned to Highways Agency standards (MCX suite of drawings)
- Installation and commissioning of Networking components including DWDM equipment, switches and routers.

- City & Guilds Communications Cabling and Networks (3667) 01/02/03/04
- C+G 3667 Fibre all 4 parts
- Experience in carrying out fibre splicing and copper jointing

As part of our growing Engineering family, we are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join us as a Mobile Gas Engineer.

This is a role that is diverse and interesting, as no two days are the same. You will be upgrading, installing systems and carrying out maintenance works, inspections and fault finding.

You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates.

You will need to have a valid gas safe registration, with relevant commercial gas qualifications including: COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CODNCO1 and have a full UK Driving License.
