• Serves as an Engineering Technician and Advanced Manufacturing in support of the Travis AFB Centralized Air Force Manufacturing Center (CAFMC).
  
• Review and approve organic (Air Force Developed) production level, repair and/or first article TDPs: Reviews design drafting projects (Technical Data packages, 2D drawings, 3D solid models and Engineering Orders (EOs) based on determination of technician's current capabilities.
  
• Performs a wide array of manufacturing engineering technician duties in support of aircraft part repair and origination.
  
• Performs project planning, design, and troubleshooting work for establishing new facility and laboratory plans and for modifying existing floor plan layouts as needed.

As a Supervisory Equal Opportunity Specialist, GS-0360-14, you will be responsible for:
• Provides team and program leadership in the planning and conduct of complaint investigations, compliance reviews, proactive enforcement activities, and the provision of technical assistance.
• Supervises and participates in the activities of the case resolution team, coordinates with other OCR teams, plans and assigns work, assures that quality and quantity requirements are met, evaluates performance, deals with officials of other units in the organization, advises management officials at higher levels on group complaints, effects disciplinary actions, recommends personnel actions, and promotes team building.
• Provides professional leadership and guidance to team members, state and institutional officials in conducting, extending and improving civil rights complaint investigation, compliance review, proactive enforcement and technical assistance activities. What will I do in this position if hired?

In this Interdisciplinary Architect/Civil Engineer position, you will serve as an Architect/Engineer within the FEMA Region 9 Mitigation Division, providing technical assistance for FEMA's hazard mitigation grant programs, with the goal of reducing risk to natural hazards.

Typical assignments include:

• Providing engineering or architectural advisory services to Mitigation staff as a subject matter expert, and collaborating with FEMA staff on identifying, developing, and/or reviewing Mitigation projects for sound mitigation techniques.
• Serving as a regional expert in Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA) using FEMA-approved software or methodologies to support cost-effectiveness determinations for potential mitigation grant projects.
• Providing technical assistance and training through formal and informal venues to grant recipients and sub-recipients on best practices for developing cost effective BCAs.
• Providing mitigation project application review support through technical feasibility, program eligibility, and cost-effectiveness for the full range of Mitigation grant programs.
• Reviewing architectural designs for sound mitigation techniques and compliance to grant program eligibility requirements.

This announcement is for a position as a CORE (Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employee). CORE employees are full-time employees hired to directly support the response and recovery efforts related to disasters. Employees are hired under the Robert T. They can be hired under a streamlined process instead of a competitive process. • You will provide hardware design and/or equipment integration support, guidance and leadership to accomplish customer tasking for major weapon control system such as the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System.

• Participates in staff efforts involving ship reactivation and deactivation plans, voyage repairs, planned maintenance and modernization, and other functions associated with husbanding and maintaining
• Assists in the professional review of engineering and program management functions, generates repair specifications, monitors management systems development and implementation, and prepares operational installation designs and procedures.
• Provides support to the MARAD RRF Logistics Support Program and its systems, the RRF Management System (RMS) and the Excess Processing Program (EPP).
• Maintains awareness of industry best practices, techniques, products and services related to ship repair, preventative maintenance, and lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate has experience and/or mastery of ship operations, maintenance, repair, alteration, logistics support, construction, mission readiness, operational reliability, cost-controls, budgeting, planning, contractor oversight, and quality assurance; knowledge of USCG and class society rules and regulations as well as project management and contracting experience.
