Our client the UK's trusted Ministry and a key defence partner is seeking experienced electronics engineer to join the RF group within the Seeker and Data Link Systems Department. The successful candidate will handle a range of RF tasks, including RCS prediction and measurement, antenna design, RF testing, radar systems, and radio altimeters.
What we're looking for:
- Ideally, degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry.
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
- Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
- Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
- Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
- Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
- Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
- Good communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations to internal and external customers
The successful candidate will be able to work independently within a multi skilled team demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving project goals. They will possess the skills to conduct technical investigations, provide problem assessments, and proposed design solutions, all within a culture that values innovative thinking.
