Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
• Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
• Monitoring subcontract performance
• Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
• Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:

• Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
• Working knowledge of NEC contracts
• Knowledge of water treatment processes
• CDM and health & safety knowledge.

Your new role
Attend Post-tender / Pre-contract review meetings with Clients & Main Contractors to discuss and agree contract scope along with both commercial and contractual matters.*
Post contract award carry out initial equipment checks alongside our design team and advise the design team of any concerns at the earliest opportunity to avoid any procurement / programming or financial implications later.

Post contract award develop equipment procurement and buying schedules for allocated contracts, along with sending out enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors based on received contract documents for completeness and for better buying purposes.

Place subcontract & material orders to satisfy the requirements of our contracts to satisfy technical, programme, cost and quality compliances.

Monitoring of site labour and keeping a record of site activities, numbers of operatives / sub-contractors on site and cost checks against the tender estimates
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager from a Building Services Background

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 Depending on Experience
Office working hours: Mon- Fri inclusive 0800 - 1700hrs less 1hr lunch break. (Some flexibility around site meetings will however occasionally be required being a natural part of the job)

The End User Support Senior Engineer is an on site role andwill assist the Team Leader with the development and support of the end user support team, providing desktop support across the trust, and all community sitesin line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in accordance with appropriate standards.

The post holder will be expected to take part in an on-call scheme operated via a Rota system,beresponsiblefor the installation and support of IT equipment and softwarein line with established procedures, to support standard operations and the rollout of new projects within the Trust.

The post holder will manage and participate in the support of IT systems and projects having a detailed knowledge of systems and infrastructure required to diagnose and resolve complex integrated technical issues. Provide and receive complex or sensitive information and escalations from junior colleagues as part of the role, using technical abilities to ensure calls are resolved quickly or escalated to the appropriate team or specialist. This applies to both technical issues, complaints and staff disputes. Tocontinually make decisions about technical escalations, reacting to emerging technical situations and dealing with IT issues.Follow standard operating procedures for the progress and resolution of complex calls and provide feedback to customers and technical teams.Plan and organise day to day activities around managing work queues and priorities. There are likely to be times where planned work will need to be adjusted due to variable workload or higher priority calls coming in.
