Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, including

split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.

• Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC systems when required.
• Undertake general fabric maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work,

and carpentry.

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer

service.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification is desirable.
• 18th edition is desirable.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in

commercial environments.

• Basic knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance tasks, including

plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing;

• Assist with the management of CMMS, implementing planned preventative maintenance requirements. Ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation including maintaining and compliance with statutory inspections. Assist with the Management and coordination of equipment maintenance - planned, breakdowns and overhauls within strict budgets
  
• Manage and control maintenance subcontractors in line with company policy and procedure.
  
• Assist in the development and implementation of Group maintenance strategic practices.
  
• Monitor and report on budget performance.
  

What we're looking for;

• Experience as mechanical fitter / welder in a steam plant environment
  
• Capable of preparing technical improvement proposals
  
• Experience with working and maintaining high pressure steam & water systems, rotational equipment; driers, centrifuge, chain and screw conveying systems, compressed air and hydraulic systems, chemical and water transfer pumps
  
• Able to operate, or train to operate a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant

Our client, a leading independent manufacturer based in the Teesside area, are looking for a Process Engineer to join their established team. This role will suit someone with experience in a chemical or process industry organisation.

As Process Engineer, you will be leading the process engineering functions on site including the support of both new and existing plant and products. This includes initial scoping onto FEED studies, process engineering design, calculations, process safety and risk management.

The responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
The successful candidate will Plan and manage the installation & commissioning of new or modified plant. Ensure that process scale-up parameters are understood, and production is established safely and effectively to meet cost, time, EHS and quality targets.

Other requirements of the Process Engineer will include:
• Lead the initial conceptual phase of capital projects in the development of strategies for expanding and providing capacity to meet the needs of the business.
• Participate in major capital project teams and support the process engineering input to these projects to ensure that development, design, and data provision activities are completed to meet agreed targets of scope, cost and time.
• Take a key role in process improvement activities and support manufacturing troubleshooting & optimisation.

About You
As Process Engineer, you will be a clear, articulate and confident communicator with a degree qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering.

Other requirements include:
• Over 5 years experience working in a chemical manufacturing process industry organisation.
• Chartered Engineering status with a recognised professional body.
• Capable of working to deadlines and milestones with minimum supervision.
• Evidence of effective leadership exposure and project ownership

Randstad C&P are working leading facilities management company to onboard a Mobile Multi-Skilled Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance of air conditioning units. In addition to your HVAC duties, you will also be expected to carry out various multi-skilled fabric tasks, ensuring the overall upkeep and functionality of the commercial properties you serve.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and the main working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on various air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRVs/VRFs, and chillers.
• Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
• Carry out installation and commissioning of HVAC systems when required.
• Undertake general fabric maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.
• 18th edition is desirable.
• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems in commercial environments.
• Basic knowledge and experience in general fabric maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
