Salary - £26,000 - £28,000
Location - Caldicot
Hours - Monday - Friday, 9.00 - 17.00 (this can be flexible)
Acorn by Synergie is delighted to present this full-time permanent opportunity on behalf of their client, an established construction specialist operating across the UK and internationally. The role is for a Senior Credit Controller to join a successful team as the business continues to grow.
Job Role
Joining an existing team of four, the senior credit controller will be responsible for managing a range of customer accounts but will also have the wider responsibility for overseeing more junior credit controllers to manage and report on aged debt and performance.
- Reviewing and reporting on debtor balances
- Building a relationship with key clients
- Account reconciliations
- Communicating with customers and internal stakeholders around queries and disputes and resolving quickly
- Adhering to Company KPI's to avoid aged debt
- Training provided on bespoke system
Essential Experience
The credit control department plays a crucial part within the business and generally deals with high volume. We are looking for candidates that are:
- Excellent communicator- both with external customers but also internal teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Experienced with high volume credit control and are looking to step up to a more supervisory level
- Excellent IT and organisational skills
