A leading regional civils contractor is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team based in Wiltshire. Joining a highly experienced finance department, reporting into the Purchase Ledger Manager and working alongside their accounts department, transactions manager and head of finance. Due to development and growth within the business this opportunity has come around.
This Purchase Ledger Assistant role will include processing purchase order numbers, processing employee expenses and company credit card expenses. Producing weekly pay runs, and reconciliating supplier statements as well as oversee up to date supplier records. Providing support and assistance with any relevant queries from both internal and external parties.
The Purchase Ledger Assistant position is with a highly reputable civils contractor with an impressive turnover in excess of £100M. With several regional offices based across the country, this Purchase Ledger Assistant is to be based out of their Head Office in Swindon. Traditionally projects are framework schemes for previous clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance specialist looking to get into the construction industry and expand their skillset.
You will either be an experienced Administrative Assistant looking to get into the finance sector or Purchase ledger Assistant, with a proven history of excellent numerical skills, effective communication skills and strong understanding of Microsoft Packages. Due to the nature of this role my client is prepared for the right ambitious candidate to be enrolled into further education and AAT. High standards and attention to detail will be well rewarded with a fantastic pathway for progression and development within an outstanding busy regional contractor.
