The Hanley and Upton Educational Trust are seeking to appoint a Senior Finance Officer to assist with the smooth running of the financial management of Hanley Castle High School and the 3 Primary Schools within the Trust. The role will support the Finance Manager with trust wide reporting, forecasting, budgeting and year end requirements.
The successful candidate will have finance experience within industry or another academy and experience maintaining financial records and systems. In addition, we are looking for someone with excellent accountancy and double entry bookkeeping skills, good attention to detail, highly organised and able to prioritise workload, a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, and a team-player.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Hours: 30-37 hours per week, term-time only plus 18 days (including Professional Development Days).Salary: SO1, SCP23 – 25, £32,076 - £33,945 FTE (pay-award pending). £28,967 - £30,655 prorated to term-time only (37 hours)
