A reputable manufacturing business based in Morecambe, are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.to join their team on a permanent and full time basis. This business boasts a financial turnover of over ÂŁ30million and specialise in niche products, distributed across the UK and Europe.
Your new role
In your new role as Purchase Ledger, you will be reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices daily, dealing with purchasing and producing statement reconciliations. You will make payments to suppliers, upload payments to the bank and send remittances. Alongside the purchase ledger, you will be responsible for processing staff expenses and any other ad-hoc support in the Finance team. This is a full-time role, based from their offices in Morecambe.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, experience of working in a similar role previously is essential. Experience of working on ERP systems would be highly preferable, but not essentia. You will have good working knowledge of Excel and be comfortable working with complex spreadsheets.
