Position Summary:
External Cloud Platforms delivers Public Cloud services for Bank of America's developers to drive faster time-to-market, innovation with private and public cloud capabilities, and reduce complexity with built-in integrations. We believe in high quality engineering culture to engineer our platforms with customer and platform mindset, design for large enterprise scale and resilience, and accelerate market innovation into the technical platforms we deliver.
We are looking to hire a cloud service platform Senior Delivery Lead who will focus on the delivery of external cloud services for Bank of America CIOs and application owners as part of our global cloud strategy multi-generational implementation.
This individual is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables to establish and sustain a platform service, which requires coordination and engagement from teams across multiple organizations and functions, projects and workstreams. Responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery in an iterative manner, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing visibility into the health of the program.
The Service Delivery Lead partners with product owners, engineering, operations, and support partners to ensure execution and delivery aligns with the Cloud strategy, roadmap and priorities. Focuses on meeting the client's expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost. As necessary, may define budgets and manage financials for the program, assist with resource planning, and facilitate sync points between business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Risk and Compliance partners.

Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish and build relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk.
Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple organizations.
Promote/facilitate communication and collaboration across cross functional teams organizations to achieve the target outcomes and timeline.
Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal.
Ensure that execution is aligned with target outcomes by collaborating with the sponsor/stakeholders.
Provide input to define/improve the Change Management process for the Portfolio.
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates.
Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards.
Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule.
Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders.
Manages program financials and supports resource planning.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of service delivery or related strategic program experience
Experience in managing Cloud initiatives
Working knowledge of scaled agile delivery and experience leading cross-functional technology teams in a distributed footprint
Working knowledge of the Risk Management Process and ability to proactively identify risk/dependencies and quantify impact
Experience with Lean Agile principles and practices, SDLC processes and deliverables
Experience leading the execution of complex projects and adherence with change standards
Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence senior executives and leaders to drive toward common goals
Expert presentation skills, including the ability to distill complex issues into simple, compelling messages in presentations
Excellent relationship management and communication skills and who can navigate the organization, challenges the status quo to transform the business and bring multiple stakeholders together to achieve strategic business goals
