What skills and experience we're looking for
The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is looking to appoint a Senior Finance Lead to work within our Central team supporting the schools in our trust. The Chelmsford Learning Partnership is a successful Multi-Academy Trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford with 8 schools across central and west Essex. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the operational effectiveness of our schools.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to provide strategic and budgetary support to the schools in our trust. The successful candidate will also provide strategic and operational financial management to the Headteachers and finance teams in these schools. They will also have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work independently whilst, at the same time, be able to form effective relationships with school staff, trust staff, governors and trustees. They will also work very closely with Finance Director and the Chief Financial Officer to ensure the successful operation of all the trust's finance systems and processes.
Applicants should also be aware that, due to the geographical locations of the trust's estates, it is a pre-requisite of this job that the successful candidate is not banned from driving and has access to their own car. Mileage will be able to be claimed in line with the trust's Financial Regulations. The successful candidate will be based in the trust's offices in Chelmsford but will be required to travel regularly to the schools they are overseeing.

Essex School Pay Scale: Scale 11 points 38-42
Salary: £46464-£50512 pa
