The Oncology department is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join our busy department at Ipswich, full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

You will join a busy department that supports diagnosed patients through their cancer journey. You must be sympathetic and compassionate as well as being aware of the need for discretion and confidentiality at all times.In this role you will be required to provide a lead role in the smooth organisation and an advanced secretarial/administration service to the consultants and medical teams.

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work within our busy Pharmacy Technical Services Unit. This service covers the preparation of medicines used within the treatment of cancer.

You should ideally have some experience of supervising / co-ordinating staff and workflow. You must be flexible and react positively to change. You must be able to follow written procedures, work under supervision and complete tasks accurately to set deadlines. This role will involve providing specialist support to the Technical Services team and includes supervising, training and mentoring staff. Our rotation at Ipswich covers the following areas - Community rotations: St Elizabeth Hospice, Community Hospital (Blue Bird Lodge), Reactive Emergency Assessment Community Team (REACT), Early Supported Discharge Service (Stroke). Inpatient rotations: Stroke, Medical, Surgery /T&O, Older Peoples Services and Emergency Admissions Unit.

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist you will be Responsible for:
• Delivering a high standard OT service in designated clinical areas.
• Manage a defined complex caseload under the management of the Team Leader, using evidence based, client centred principles to assess, plan and evaluate OT interventions, ensuring compliance with HCPC, RCOT, CQC and Trust clinical and quality standards.
• To ensure as far as is reasonably practical the safety of the patients in your care.
• To supervise and assist in the development of junior OTs, non-qualified staff and students on placement.
• To undertake audit of both clinical practice and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• To be flexible in working in a 7 day service with extended hours in specific settings.

As one of ESNEFTs new Senior Data Conversion Engineers you will play a crucial role in transitioning data from our legacy healthcare systems to Epic’s Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system. Developing into a specialist in Epic, as well as building an in-depth understanding of our legacy systems; you will need a unique blend of technical expertise, healthcare knowledge, and project management skills.

You will:
• Use your technical skillset to design, develop and execute data conversion plans, including validation testing and troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to analyse & map data from legacy systems to Epic EPR, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Troubleshoot & resolve data conversion issues, ensuring data integrity & system stability.
• Maintain documentation of data conversion processes and protocols.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulations.

With experience of healthcare data, particularly in an modularised EPR environment, our ideal candidates will also have a strong understanding of database structures, data mapping, ETL processes, JavaScript & SQL.

The Essex Community Adult Eating Disorders Service is developing the FREED pathway (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders), alongside the existing service. This post covers the service in the mid and south areas of Essex.

The post holder will have primary responsibility for ensuring its smooth and effective implementation. This will involve considerable liaison with primary care services, education and promotion of a new treatment pathway. The post holder manages all referrals for this pathway and offers initial triage, as well as providing a clinical service to people experiencing an eating disorder.
• The post holder is based with the expanding Community Adult Eating Disorder Service. The primary focus for the post holder is in working with clients accessing treatment through the FREED pathway, though the post holder will also contribute to, and is part of, the broader team.
• In addition the post holder is responsible for liaising and working with other professionals as appropriate, alongside the promotion and development in the service of the FREED approach.
• You will lead with other senior colleagues the continuing development of a high quality service that is underpinned by evidence based practice and care pathways / packages and NICE guidance and DH guidance; leading on service development and policy in conjunction with the other senior clinicians, and Service Lead.
• You will also have responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and management of lower banded staff within your team as required by your manager, this may include the management of these staff in line with agreed Trust HR processes.
