As maintenance specialist, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of building maintenance, engineering infrastructure and systems and equipment. This will include the guidance and support to Estates operatives to ensure compliance with legislation, local policy and best practice. To undertake clinical and management responsibility for the nurses and recovery workers in Lambeth Community Drug and Alcohol Service and have an operational overview on the day to day running of the service. This will include ensuring the service is safe and effective, delivers on all performance targets and achieves positive outcomes with clients.



The Team Leader will as part of a senior management team oversee the on-going development of recovery focused and evidence based interventions in order to meet the needs of a group of service users with multiple complex physical, psychological and social needs across Lambeth. Lambeth Drug and Alcohol Service is part of the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), within the Addictions Clinical Academic Group. The Trust provides recognised high quality learning and development opportunities as well as offering the chance to be involved in research projects through the Institute of Psychiatry and globally respected Addictions Department.

This is a consortium partnership comprised of We Are With You, Human Kind, Phoenix Futures and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) with SLaM being the lead agency in this model. This is a cross borough contract since 1stApril 2010 with shared leadership and specialist roles as well as local core services.

Lambeth Consortium provide an excellent and first class range of drug and alcohol treatment options to residents of Lambeth Borough. Our services are busy and dynamic, with a strong recovery focus. We currently operate 2 sites across Lambeth plus various satellites including in primary care. We in-reach to local hospitals, offer street outreach, and work closely with local stakeholders including social care and mental health. We also have a comprehensive online offer.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To provide strong and decisive leadership and management of all staff within Lambeth. To manage the staff team and all day-to-day issues of the service. To take the lead role in the induction, team building and retention of staff. To deputise at designated times in the absence of the Borough Lead.
2. To ensure regular clinical and line management supervision, appraisal (personal development plans) and teaching of staff across the team to ensure high standard of client care. To identify and support opportunities for staff development and training, and to support this aim use role modelling to motivate and educate the team. To facilitate and manage change whilst maintaining a high quality effective service.
3. To take responsibility for the management of a defined caseload of clients with complex needs and facilitation of groups or other elements of front line service delivery where required. At times to deliver nurse specific interventions such as vaccinations and where appropriately qualified deliver non-medical prescribing within scope of practice and Trust guidelines for alcohol and drug clients attending the service.
4. To ensure service information requirements are met through the production of required statistics and data and ensuring this remains a priority. Ensure timely inputting of information by team members so as to support effective Trust, local commissioning and national reporting requirements.
5. Undertaking of regular audits to ensure that all clinical records/ practice is of a high quality and in line with CAG, Trust, CQC standards and national polices/ guidance such as safeguarding adults and children, PHE recommendations and NICE guidance.
6. To organise, attend and facilitate relevant clinical and service development team meetings as well as specific borough and CAG wide meetings.
7. To actively promote and encourage service user and carer involvement in the service.
8. To draft/ review/ evaluate clinical protocols/ operational procedures as required, to ensure the service is responsive to changes in practice, trends in substance use and legislation.

The finance manager is responsible for all financial and management accounting functions of Team Domenica. The post holder will be recognised as the organisation’s finance expert by their peers.


The Finance Manager’s responsibility is to ensure that the financial systems and information we have supports the trustees and staff to make informed decisions and that we remain compliant with all relevant regulations and donor restrictions. They will be assisted in this by a part-time bookkeeper.



CONTRACT DETAILS

CONTRACT: Permanent. Full Time, 40 hours per week (with some flexibility).

SALARY: Up to £40,000, depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Work with the Co-CEO to ensure efficient, modern financial management and planning systems, ensure that financial reports effectively inform business development and fundraising strategies and that the organisation demonstrates value for money across all activities and services.

Work with other members of SMT to improve their knowledge of the financial risks and opportunities for Team Domenica, mentoring them to develop a commercial attitude to their work.

Responsibility for all month end processes resulting in monthly Management Accounts reporting.

Oversee the timely operation and upkeep of accounting systems in accordance with financial procedures. We use Xero accounting software, and are in the process of bringing our (monthly) payroll in-house.

Prepare key account reconciliations and review those carried out by the Finance Officer to ensure completeness. This includes credit control with local authorities and others.

Review and analyse financial reports, with the manager, on performance against budget, to inform management decisions and strategic planning processes.

Prepare information for our Funders on the projects spend and work with the Fundraising team to present this in a meaningful way.

With the bookkeeper support the CEOs and Trustees to ensure efficient preparation of the annual financial accounts and budget, and the effective production of financial information to support funding bids, tenders and the generation of new income.

Work with the auditors to ensure that the annual audit is conducted in a timely manner.

You will be an experienced registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - Health Visitor with extensive experience leading and managing teams within the Healthy Child Programme and perhaps other teams.

Whilst your focus will be the leadership of the Health Visiting teams in Brighton and Hove, you will work closely with your colleagues locally in B&H 5-19 services and West Sussex 0-19 HCP, providing leadership and quality oversight as part of the broader SCFT HCP leadership team.

You will work with the team leads and clinical colleagues across Brighton and Hove HCP to deliver health visiting services.

This involves provide the leadership and support to teams to deliver the contractual requirements, and work with teams to promote the wellbeing of staff.

You will benefit from working jointly with the leadership team across the SCFT HCP (Brighton and Hove and West Sussex) on shared projects and processes.

Being able to work both autonomously and within a team is essential.

You will be an excellent communicator, compassionate leader and be solution focused in your approach.

You will be able to foster good working relationships with your teams, our colleagues within SCFT, including corporate services, and stakeholders outside of our trust such as Early Help, Safeguarding and Social Care and will be able to provide clinical leadership as required and within role, knowing when to escalate issues as appropriate.

You will have excellent digital skills which will support the level of performance and quality monitoring, reporting and actions required to ensure the service delivers high quality care across all areas.

You will have an excellent understanding of electronic patient record systems, electronic staff record systems, incident reporting, health and safety and infection control systems and to be able to use this data to monitor quality and safety of your teams.

How you’ll help us make health happen:

• Define, develop and implement a global portfolio management approach across all products and regions; driving increased revenue and profitability, whilst ensuring we meet and exceed customer needs
• Regular analysis, reporting and review of global portfolio performance, including regular dashboards and ad hoc deep-dive product reviews; continuously identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively to deliver any recommended changes
• Identification, evaluation and delivery of enhancements to our global product portfolio; in response to commercial opportunities, customer pain-points, or regulatory challenges
• Identify opportunities to rationalise and/or migrate products at a global ‘book’ level; managing their delivery to create increased customer simplification and improved commercial performance
• Management of clear and effective product governance processes, policies and controls; including their regular review, testing and update where appropriate; ensuring the prioritisation and delivery of good customer and regulatory outcomes
• Oversight of an effective Product Approval process, ensuring that the team and wider business have the relevant tools, templates and support required
• Delivery of annual assessments to ensure that our products continue to provide fair value to their target customers, with any actions managed through to completion

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

• Business experience, which should include managing a varied product portfolio in a range of regulated markets, to deliver improved commercial performance and customer metrics
• Experience of developing portfolio strategy and setting overall business direction; and then leading virtual teams to successful multi-channel delivery and implementation of that strategy and key initiatives
• Strong interpersonal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of colleagues across the business at all levels
• Clear communication and presentation skills, experienced at using storytelling to influence, and gain support from, key stakeholders across the business
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial skills
• Specific experience in healthcare, access, or value-add products
• Awareness and understanding of PMI/IPMI products and the PMI/IPMI market
