Your new role
Within this role you will be essential in providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure the Company's financial commitments are met, establishing strong financial controls to enhance reporting, cost efficiencies, cash flow, and EBITDA generation.
You will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements and deliver robust financial control. Your responsibilities will include compliance and governance, producing monthly management accounts, and import/export financial processes.
Leading your team to meet and match their KPIs, leading the annual audit, and managing cashflow, and payroll.
You will develop and maintain systems, policies, and procedures for effective financial management and compliance during the FTC.

What you'll need to succeed

• AAT qualification essential - ideally part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Experience in a finance manager or financial control position
• Previous experience in SAP & Microsoft office
• Driven and engaging with the finance team and the wider business

As the interim Regional Finance Manager you willsupport the Finance team with:

• Year-end accounting work e.g. VAT126, FixedAssets, Balance Sheet recs, audit queries etc.
• Financial management responsibilities across the Truste.g budget management, payroll allocation/reconciliation, month end processes.
• Mobilisation of new academies joining our Trustincluding due diligence.
• Review of systems and processes including theutilisation of technology.
  

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), with previous experience in the education sector and have knowledge of AccessFinancials software. You will also have a strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation.

As the Transactional Finance Team Leader, you will manage a small team who are responsible for all of the rent accounting transactions for the organisation.
Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Ensure the correct reconciliations and calculations are performed and applied accurately and efficiently to the finance system
• Ensure any appropriate rent adjustments and receipts are recorded in a timely and accurate manner
• Liaise with various teams across the business to ensure all funds are allocated correctly
• Allocate rent refunds and payments as required
