The South West Capital team manages significant capital resource for the region. This includes c.£1.0 billion of system operational capital and national programme capital for 2024/25. The role is a key part of the South West Regional Finance Directorate, delivering support to system, commissioner and provider organisations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting and monitoring of the regional capital programme, in addition to other strategic finance work as required. They will provide support to the Senior Finance Manager and Deputy Head of Finance. There will also be line management responsibility for an additional member of the Capital team.

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the health and social care environment, is key. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and be familiar with accounting software, such as Oracle and Oracle Business Intelligence.
