.Join us as our Director of Coverage & Sector Content, Insurance, Wealth & Brokers
- As our Director, you’ll set and implement a strategy for managing successful and profitable relationships in the insurance sector in our chosen geographies of UK, Western Europe and Bermuda in conjunction with other key stakeholders
- You’ll be recognised as the coordinating first point of call for specific customer relationships, delivering the capabilities of the bank to appropriately meet customers’ requirements and delivering sector content and core relationship facilities
- This is a senior and varied role in which you’ll support in all aspects of business delivery, sector specific content delivery as well as structuring and executing financing solutions for our customers
What you'll do
We’ll look to you to maintain a portfolio of senior client relationships and lead commercial thinking with chosen customers, positioning us as first point of call for defined capabilities in line with bank strategy and risk appetite. You’ll understand, promote, and deliver the control, reporting, compliance, and regulatory regime within the business and drive business engagement with external stakeholders to maintain our profile within the chosen markets.
You’ll also drive an understanding of target customer segment commercial aspirations and expectations and ensure that this knowledge is applied internally to risk appetite and commercial capability. As such, you’ll enable us to maintain a market leading product and appetite capability in chosen markets.
In addition to this, you’ll:
- Support all aspects of commercial strategy and internal stakeholder management
- Use market knowledge and contacts to cultivate new client relationships in a timely and profitable manner
- Drive engagement across all relevant internal stakeholders to deliver a coherent and efficient business execution and stewardship capability in line with risk appetite and framework
- Deliver an excellent customer experience to our target market, owning and delivering specific agreed outcomes
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to other members of the team
- Develop and maintain a strong network of partnerships to deliver bank capabilities to chosen customers
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with knowledge of, and credibility within the insurance sector where life insurance expertise will be preferred. You’ll have good strategic capability and origination experience and a practical understanding of, and application of risk management disciplines.
A strong track record of financing transaction structuring and execution coupled with deep understanding of the insurance sector will be essential.
