The post will be instrumental in working with schools to develop and implement a model ensuring financial data accuracy, where internal control frameworks are adhered to, and statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements are met. The model will ensure the needs of the schools are maintained or enhanced, allowing relevant and up to date information for decision making purposes.
You will be an experienced, highly skilled finance professional with a proven track record of developing finance operating models, adapting processes and approaches, and effectively managing organisational finances.
The role is based at the Learning Partners Academy Trust central offices in Guildford and there will be regular travel required across our schools (all within a 30-minute drive).
Due to the flexibility in the other resources available, we are able to consider applications for full-time or part-time working. You will be working at least 30 hours per week over 41 weeks per year (term time plus 2 additional non-term time weeks). You will need to have the flexibility to occasionally adjust your working pattern according to the needs of the trust. Please indicate on your application form your preferred working hours.
