Position Overview:
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Sydney-based team on a full-time basis.
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role within the company, closely overseeing our Finance, Accounts & Administration team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic direction in financial matters, playing a key role in shaping and executing financial strategies and policies.
• Spearhead the budgeting process in collaboration with department leaders to develop precise and thorough budgets, while also conducting financial forecasts to pinpoint potential risks and opportunities.
• Accurately prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and deliver insightful reports with recommendations to senior management.
• Manage and optimize cash flow to support operational needs and strategic goals, implementing effective cash flow forecasting and monitoring systems.
• Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations and standards, while identifying and mitigating financial risks through robust internal controls.
• Lead and inspire the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment, and providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA) required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial management.
• Thorough knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English and French
Salary Range: $130,000-150,000
