GENERAL FUNCTION:

Selected candidates are intended to become a Retail Personal Banker II after completing a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program that includes rotations in Operations and Sales & Service. There will be a certification at the conclusion of the program to provide selected candidates the opportunity to demonstrate skills necessary to successfully perform a role within the Retail Personal Banker job family. The Retail Personal Banker II role is a sales position with a primary focus on sales development and relationship building through the promotion of deposits, loans, fee-based services and the retention of customers. • Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a thorough customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using our value proposition.
• Utilize CAMP and other approved Marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.

• Provide guidance to CSRs with respect to the sales and referral process.

GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Credit Analyst II is primarily responsible for partnering with Portfolio Managers, supporting the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit while performing analytical activities and identifying risks or issues as needed. In addition, a successful Credit Analyst II will be able to draft documents and prepare for credit reviews with limited support from the Portfolio Managers. The Credit Analyst II is knowledgeable on financial and risk analysis and demonstrates proficiency in financial modeling.

The Credit Analyst II is expected to build proficiency in underwriting, developing the ability to complete the underwriting process from beginning to end with limited oversight. Additionally, the Credit Analyst II will attend and support Portfolio Reviews as needed.

• Use critical thinking to identify and draft documentation
• Responsible for regularly completing indicative credit information into Banking Systems with little to no errors
• Responsible for preparing risk-rating scorecard and tickler event analysis and determining actions based on results working in collaboration with PM's
• Responsible for developing risk models and advising PMs of unforeseen obstacles that may impede meeting client expectations
• Identify and determine monitoring analysis activities required
• Verify covenants and define updates needed on ticklers
• Monitor covenant completion and track past due or out of compliance covenants and recommend appropriate course of action
• Responsible for assessing covenant compliance reporting and identifying issues
• Review covenant compliance certificates to understand performance and determine actions
• Update financial covenants and calculations as needed
• Run Probability of Default (PD) model with oversight
• Responsible for understanding and evaluating completed spreads to determine necessary edits working in collaboration with the CCU team
• Responsible for identifying and recommending preliminary portfolio management actions using Credit Service reporting and RADAR with some oversight
• Prepares ALSR reports with oversight
• Responsible for running risk and projection models with oversight assumptions provided
• Responsible for completing underwriting process with limited oversight
• Create and complete a CAM with little to no errors
• Review and re-write renewals for deals of limited complexity
• Responsible for portfolio analysis and the development for Portfolio Reviews in preparation for client meetings
• Support Portfolio Managers and special projects
• Takes appropriate remedial actions to resolve deficiencies and escalates questions/disputes to

appropriate level when necessary.

GENERAL FUNCTION:  Responsible for driving sound fiduciary decision making and risk management strategies for the Investment Management & Trust (IM&T) business in multiple, assigned regions by implementing consistent fiduciary behavior and encouraging consistent client service across the IM&T book of business.   Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines in the execution of fiduciary responsibility.  Collaborate with the Managing Director of Personal Trust and the Chief Fiduciary Officer to set trust administration execution strategies. Ø    Leadership Responsibilities
Ø    In collaboration with the Managing Director of Personal Trust, the Chief Fiduciary Officer and in consultation with Private Bank Legal Counsel, lead sound fiduciary decision-making for all IM&T regions of the Bancorp.
Ø    Drive consistent fiduciary behavior within the IM&T business by working closely with the Regional Trust Directors to customize coaching of trust staff and lead solution development for client-specific issues.
Ø    Identify risk and develop recommendations and action plans to eliminate or mitigate that risk.
Ø    Identify process gaps/variations that could lead to opportunities to improve risk controls, reduce costs or enhance client service.
Ø    Establish, foster and maintain strong working relationships with peers and line management within the business unit to support an effective workflow and culture of continuous improvement.
Ø    Execute strategic and tactical programs to address and resolve current regulatory, Audit, Compliance or self-identified issues as well as evolving risks and other exposures to the Bancorp.
Ø    Serve as a voting member of the respective Regional Approval Groups and the IM&T Governance Committee.
Ø    Participate actively in the Risk Oversight Council and the Foundation Oversight Council.

Ø    Core Responsibilities
Ø    Develop consistent document interpretation, issue resolution, solutions to systemic administrative issues, policy and procedure interpretation, legal interpretation, account coding and account administration execution.
Ø    Perform necessary legal research for assigned regions
Ø    Receive, investigate and distribute complaints to Business Controls, Private Bank Legal Counsel and trust officers.  Participate in complaint resolution and drafting responses to clients.
Ø    Review legal documents including contracts, trust agreements, wills and non-judicial settlement agreements, and serve as liaison to Private Bank Legal Counsel if next level review is needed.
Ø    Consult with trust professionals across the Bancorp and within assigned regions regarding fiduciary issues and evolving client matters, which pose significant financial and/or legal risk to the Bancorp, in order to resolve those issuesefficientlyand effectively.
Ø    Collaborate with the Personal Trust line of business, Product Management, Risk, Compliance and Training to champion the implementation of various initiatives and ensure that all trust professionals have a consistent understanding of IM&T policies and procedures.
Ø    Design, implement and present annual fiduciary training sessions for all trust officers and specialists, and coordinate those programs with product manager and senior leadership.
Ø    Manage, oversee and monitor risk within the business case exception process.
Ø    Assist local Trust officers in resolving Compliance, Audit and regulatory exceptions.
Ø    Partner with Private Bank Legal Counsel (and external counsel, when necessary) to draft protective documentation and to manage threats and litigation.
Ø    Develop and implement a Resource Officer program to provide 1) expertise to trust officers in specific aspects of fiduciary administration, 2) development opportunities for program participants, and 3) a path and proving ground for potential ,future Regional Fiduciary Executives.

Ø    Job Knowledge and Communication Responsibilities
Ø    Maintain a working knowledge of the appropriate laws, regulations, Private Bank policies and procedures and Fifth Third Bancorp policies.
Ø    Maintain an understanding of current and emerging trends, changes and issues in the industry with regard to fiduciary matters (e.g. estate planning (including the use of ILITs), probate, estate, gift and income tax planning, guardianships, special needs trusts, state-specific laws) and unique assets and apply this knowledge for the benefit of the Bancorp.

• Identifies accounts in which the bank may hold a priority security interest and Right to Offset Funds.
• Coordinates response with the appropriate Line of Business to determine the amount of funds to be applied to any obligations owed to the bank by the Debtor or Account Owner.
• Ensures strict confidentiality of information in all aspects of duties to mitigate operational, reputational, monetary and legal risk.
• Initiates and removes account holds, and completes bank checks for mailing to courts/law offices, child support enforcement agencies and IRS.
• Promptly notify customer of any actions taken on accounts by mailing copies of orders and customer notification letters to the customer, and fax notification letters to the branch in a timely manner.
• Ensures collection of the appropriate processing fees from garnishees and periodically complete review on outstanding debts.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Four (4) years related experience, preferably in Legal, Operations, or Retail banking
• Paralegal Certificate or two years of Legal Processing experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

GENERAL FUNCTION: Perform varied and moderately complex duties related to the timely receipt and processing of currency, coin and check deposits from commercial customers and banking centers in accordance with established procedures and controls.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive customer and banking center deposits from armored carriers and balance the deposits to the accompanying manifest.

• Track deposits into internal systems and assign to processors in order to maintain control and accountability.

• Verify sums of inbound or outbound coin and currency from branches, correspondent banks, and customers using internal systems and high-speed desktop currency counter

• Ensure all deposits and orders contain correct customer contents on a daily basis with 100.00% accuracy.

• Includes some data entry related to customers deposits including checks and counting of coin by hand or with a coin sorter.

• Meet customer additional reporting and process needs as required and ensure all customer deadlines are met

• Accurately balance transaction totals, in order to transfer verified fed ready currency to inventory and non fed ready currency to the high-speed sorter for additional verification.

• Research and resolve all out of balance transactions via ACE, electronic or paper receipts, and Transaction Manager naming system for retrieving check items.

• Complete daily proof and Statement of Condition for work processed.

• Use Transaction Manager HGAA and IPCS to insert advice of corrections as needed.

• Print and report all advice notices that were created during balancing and coordinate advice distribution with Mail Operations.

• Inspect customer deposit batches for hardware (staples, paper clips) to ensure all work is in the appropriate order. Inserts control documents as specified and deliver work to image capture.

• Maintains a working knowledge of all capture machines (NCR 7780s, Itrans, IBM 3890*s) in order to perform image capture.

• Power encode functions as assigned.

• Performs hardware maintenance as needed.

• Support Fed related procedures and controls including: preparing and sending necessary documentation to the Secret Service on counterfeit items, opening and closing of Custodial Inventory, audit needs and any additional requirements that meet Federal regulations.

• Proactively identify teller outages, correct and enlist help in order to prevent any customer impact.

• Consistently meet or exceed production and quality standards as set by work type and process.

• Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential and securing all system related individual passwords.

• Comply with vault procedures and controls at all times.

• Escalate issues to management as needed.

• Required to cross-train in multiple processes in order to support all Cash Vault services.

• Model the Fifth Third Core Values.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience handling large amounts of currency and coin with the ability to perform balancing related duties with basic math functions and reconciling to expected totals.

• Experience in a production environment preferred.

• Demonstrated data entry and PC skills.

• Ability to professionally communicate both in verbal and written form.

• Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co-workers and management.

• Must have ability to work in a fast paced environment without compromising quality.

• Flexibility in working varying schedules depending on business needs.

• Basic proficiency in PC software: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

• Ability to adhere to strict procedures to maintain customer privacy.

• Maintain orderly and clean work areas, including all machines, tables, cabinets and storage areas.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
