An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full time Administration Assistant working Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm. The base will be Thurrock Hospital, but the role will involve covering our various receptions and services on a regular basis. The areas we cover are Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood and Billericay, so you will be required to travel to other bases on a weekly basis and sometimes be advised at short notice where your base for that day will be.

We are looking for someone with the ability and confidence to use their own initiative and prioritise tasks. The post holder must possess excellent communication skills and relevant administrative experience, must be flexible and have attention to detail.

• When based on reception the role will involve you dealing with patients, visitors and staff. You will also be completing varied admin tasks to support our clinical colleagues and ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely, efficient manner. Some of the duties of this role are minute taking, formatting letters, booking appointments and inputting data onto the systems we use. You will need to be computer literate and competent in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be given full training on the systems we use.
• You will be required to handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls to the multi-disciplinary clinical staff in a polite and efficient manner, receive and deal with telephone enquiries and respond appropriately to callers, including high risk and vulnerable patients and carers.
• You will also need to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• You will need to record accurate messages and follow them up in accordance with department guidelines.
• You will deal face to face with patients and families seeking further help/information and need to be aware of the needs of the patients.
• You will exchange confidential and/or sensitive information, where appropriate, between staff, patients, and carers in person or on the telephone. The unpredictability of patients means that reassuring and empathetic skills are required at all times.

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to work as a member of the highly professional occupational health and wellbeing team providing the highest standard of professional customer focused service.

You will undertake a wide range of clinical activities including performing health surveillance tests e.g. spirometry, skin assessments, under the guidance of trained clinical staff reporting the results to the responsible Occupational Health Practitioner.

We are currently recruiting to a Community Paediatrics Specialty Doctor position in theBarking and Dagenham Specialist Children Service, based at 79 Axe Street, Barking, IG11 7L. · Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care tobabies, children, and young people across Barking and Dagenham.

· Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team

· Participate in the local Child Protection rota

· Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative

We are looking for Health Care Assistants to work in the Community on a temporary basis, as and when required who will support the team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s mission of “Best care by the best people”.

We are looking for experienced 0-19 Community Band 5 Nurses to work on a temporary basis, as and when required, who will support the team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust’s mission of “best care by the best people”.

We are now looking to recruit qualified nurses who are motivated and enthusiastic about providing high quality care in children’s services

You will need to be registered with the NMC and have experience and/or qualifications in working with children and young people. Temporary work is also available for block bookings and ad hoc shifts.

Clinical Skills

4. Liaise with other statutory and voluntary agencies and maintain good working relationships, making referrals and consulting as necessary.
5. Be aware of the deviations from the norm in health and behaviour and to intervene to protect vulnerable children by prompt action by referral.
6. Assist the Specialist Community Practitioner at Child Health Clinics monitoring the growth of babies and children, advising parents on aspects of parenting within his/her knowledge base and referring to the Specialist Community Practitioner where there are problems or more detailed advice is required.
7.Carry out home visits as delegated by the Specialist Community Practitioner.
