Before you can start working as a Bank Paramedic in SCAS you arerequiredto attend a 12 day induction and clinical training course. This will be at one of our education centres in either Whiteley, Newbury or Bicester subject to availability.

After the clinical training, you will also be required to attend 2-3 days driving training and complete 3 third manning shifts.

The training will be Monday - Friday so you will have to be available to complete the training on weekdays. 3 of the days you can do this remotely however you will need to still complete this within the office hours.

We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and dedicated Research Nurse/Practitioner to join the Research and Innovation department of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Training and development of self and others
• To successfully complete the current approved Level 3 qualification including Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English, and Employee Rights and Responsibilities Workbook (if applicable), to enable registration with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

This job is for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Neurology at Wexham Park Hospital (WPH) to provide care for ward and clinic patients, receiving support/training from the Consultant Neurology staff. • The Health Advisor will be a key individual within the Mental Health Urgent Care Services for Berkshire and work as part of Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team’s Triage Team to review all referrals received by CRHTT. These referrals may be via NHS 111, patients, carers or from other teams both within and outside of the organisation.
• The post holder will provide basic health advise to patients who have been identified as not requiring onward referral to the CRHTT, or other services, and support them in managing their own symptoms at home whilst working under the guidance of a registered professional.
• The post holder will be responsible for the prioritisation of presenting clinical symptoms, throughout a 24 hour period. This will include the transfer of patient calls to the appropriate responders by undertaking brief clinical risk and mental state assessment, formulation and brief psychological interventions for people presenting in mental health crisis.
• The post holder, working via telephone, will be responsible for validating, de-escalating crisis and coaching people in distress tolerance and emotional regulation strategies using a range of brief psychological interventions, empower patients, carers and families to manage distress and crisis effectively

DIMENSIONS OF JOB:

To be responsible for the service, testing and diagnose repairs needed to plant and equipment, including ordering of parts and fitment, within the trust buildings and plant. PURPOSE OF JOB:

Assist the Estates Supervisor with all aspects to PPM and SPM to provide a safe compliant environment for staff and patients.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1Carry out maintenance and minor works on engineering plant, equipment and services.

2Act as lead for direction and guidance with regard to electrical/ mechanical services for other craftsman within the department.

3Carry out all duties in a safe and compliant way.

Estates Building Technician

PURPOSE OF JOB:

The Building Technician will undertake unsupervised planned, corrective and breakdown maintenance and to include new project work to a good standard of workmanship and to current building or health regulations on building elements and fabric within the hospital and its grounds, The post requires a high degree of autonomy.

The post holder will be reporting, on a daily basis, to supervisor or team leaders

Undertake minor repair works and general carpentry & Joinery maintenance activities as directed by the supervisor or team leaders.

To carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements within the Trust and any other properties serviced by the Trust. Erecting of access equipment as required, with appropriate training and competency.

Must be prepared to work out side normal working hours, as and when required to do so to meet the demands of the service.

To efficiently diagnose and repair faults in building structure ( including roof work, fabric and finishes to deal with new situations as they arise and to pass on knowledge to others. Pre order all materials need for tasks through the trusts Eros ordering system and all consumables be accounted for.

To be conversant and qualifies to use and maintain all relevant hand power tools, and workshop equipment in a safe effective manner. Be capable of carrying out a good standard of workmanship in all duties as directed by the team leader or supervisor.

To request assistance from team leader where task exceeds loan worker capabilities.

Complete all reports sheets when finished; always carry an estates communication device (pager, radio, mobile phone if applicable) to facilitate immediate response to emergencies.

To carry out small works alterations to the internal fabric to change/ alter the size of office accommodation/ rooms and to carry out the change from concept to completion from fabric to fix furnishing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mental Health Practitioner to join a well-established, dynamic team working within the Adults Community Mental Health Team in Slough.

The Slough Community Mental Health Team is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of social workers, community mental health nurses, consultant psychiatrists, psychological therapists, occupational therapists, community support workers, employment specialists, and administrators/reception staff. The post would be best suitable for someone with experience of working in an Adult mental health setting. • Providing continued clinical advice, training, and supervision to a group of staff operating in the multi-disciplinary team.
