QA Supervisor - Savoury

The main purpose of this role is to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s
policies and applicable laws.

Key Duties

* Support and assist with unannounced BRC preparation
* Implementation and maintenance of customer COP
* Unannounced Audit preparation
* Audit performance (Standard, Customer, Legal Requirements)
* Customer Complaints Reduction
* Maintain Quality Management System

* Metal Detection higher level knowledge
* Provide Quality/ Food Safety Training to Production teams
* Management of the pest control site visits and non-conformance close outs

What will I do?

JOB PURPOSE:

The HR Information Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy of HR and payroll systems
across all sites. This role involves overseeing Time & Attendance (T&A) records, processing payroll, and providing essential
support to HR teams and employees. This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring in-office presence on Monday, Tuesday,
and Wednesday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure accurate and timely updates of Time & Attendance (T&A) records, including hours worked and various leave types (e.g.,
holidays, absences).
* Clear exceptions in T&A records and effectively resolve related queries.
* Process and record self-certificates and doctor's notes, calculate Company Sick Pay, and enter Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) details
into the Kronos system.
* Accurately manage and calculate holiday pay, payroll adjustments, and assist in the annual pay review process.
* Enter employees' hours into HR/payroll systems, considering factors like unauthorized absences and sickness.
* Collaborate closely with central payroll to ensure data is ready for weekly payroll processing.
* Provide support and training to HR teams, T&A Operators, and employees on using HR systems effectively, including Microsoft
Office packages.
* Manage system password resets, user access, and ensure alignment of HRIS data with organizational structures.
* Generate and produce accurate reports on overtime, holiday usage, and other key HR metrics.
* Handle general office administration tasks, including filing and other duties as required.

* Previous experience in HRIS or payroll processing roles.
* Strong proficiency in using HR and payroll systems; experience with Kronos is advantageous.

Job Purpose

Checking quality requirements across the Wrights Food Group, ensuring that product is manufacture in line with Factory Product
Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Main Duties

* Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors, across all facilities, by strict enforcement of
WFG Health and Safety ( H&S ) Policy and by developing a proactive culture to reducing accidents .
* Ensure products are checked against the weight and dimension specifications and report any out of spec issues.
* Taking environmental swabs, air plates, water testing and collecting products, to register and send for micro testing
* Monitor hygiene standards throughout the factory and reporting any issues so that cleaning can be arranged of machinery and /
or areas.
* Carrying out Glass, Plastic, Brittle Plastic, Ceramics and GMP Audit Checks and completing a nonconformance and / or
Engineering Job sheet, where required.
* Working with the New Product Development, assisting in Factory Trials with carrying out weights and taking photos where
required.
* Ensure we are working with up-to-date factory online and packaging specifications.
* Carry out internal audits to the required schedules, ensure all factory paperwork is fully audited and checked before filing
away.
* Where any issues are raised, complete a nonconformance and / or Engineering Job sheet, where required.
* Ensure daily taste panels are collected and carried out.
* Manual temperature checks on all chillers and freezers throughout the factory.
* Ensure internal calibrations are carried out on a daily and weekly basis and report any issues.



Skills and Competencies

* Experienced QA Operative with knowledge of meeting customer product quality. expectations and site accreditation standards.
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance / Food Safety systems.
* Sound numerical and negotiation skills.
* Good level of IT skills (e.g., Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
* Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

This is a majority site based HR role across our two large manufacturing bakeries in Crewe, where the working hours are Monday to

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead in managing site ER cases, maintaining a keen eye on trends and recommending improvements. Support HR team to provide a
positive and safe environment for all colleagues to discuss ER issues in confidence and work sensitively to resolve
* Champion and manage effective absence management, ensuring % remain below target.
* Handle consultations on complex changes.
* Enhance employee engagement through HR walk-rounds, welfare interviews, and ensuring HR visibility across shifts.
* Administer Speak Up and grievance procedures to address concerns promptly.
* Contribute to community, charity, and volunteering initiatives.
* Oversee talent attraction, retention, and development, including talent mapping and succession planning.
* Coordinate weekly recruitment campaigns with site management teams

Requirements:

* CIPD Qualified to Level 5 or equivalent site HR Advisor experience.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in managing employee relations, ideally in a fast-paced FMCG setting.
* Solid HR knowledge of employment law and experience in handling complex cases and consultations.

The Role: Chief Engineer

As our Chief Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement
of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. > Managing the asset care program for the site, ensuring it meets safety, technical, and legislative standards.
2. > Leading and challenging activities related to safety, including site refrigeration, fixed wiring, asbestos, water treatment,
effluent management, boilers, equipment safety, and power.
3. > Ensuring compliance with all legal and legislative obligations relating to our people, plant safety, environmental
standards, and energy efficiency/emissions.
4. > Continuously improve our comprehensive asset care/maintenance system, with a focus on cost control, manpower, planned

Qualifications and Skills:

* Time served apprenticeship background or equivalent. BSc, HND, or HNC in Electrical, Mechanical, or dual-skilled engineering.
