Gordon Food Service is hiring an Customer Profitability Senior Analyst position. This candidates will plan, directs, and manages all aspects of North American Customer Profitability. Work with Finance, Sales and GTS teams to launch and maintain Customer Profitability tools.
Essential Functions:
Balances multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing, defining scope, cost, quality, and time allocation to ensure end results are of the highest caliber
Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders to respond to project management support needed
Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders and additional impacted leaders
Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing customer profitability
Understand key drivers of customer profitability
Assist in development of Customer Profitability acumen for the company
Responsible for launch and training on the use of the Customer Profitability tool
Responsible for developing and maintaining formal interaction process with the GTS team to prioritize workstream
Utilizes effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Understands how to anticipate, recognize and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to diverse situations
Performs other duties as assigned
Ideal candidate will have:
Proven ability to earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity
Solid influencing skills
Ability to balance multiple projects
Sound financial and technical acumen
Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
Ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of technical information and formality
Ability to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectives
Solid problem solving and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Experience:
Bachelor' Degree required - Business Administration, Finance , or Accounting, or related field
Four years of accounting, financial planning and analysis or related responsibilities.
