Residence Inn by Marriott is an extended stay brand whereby our guests stay for longer periods of time. It is up to us to make them feel at home with our family of associates! All rooms are suites with more living and working space, than you would find in any other hotel room, including a fully equipped kitchen in every suite! Our guests (the Maximisers) want to Maximize their stay and we are here to help them do that, by offering grocery services, complimentary daily breakfast and of course all the places to be in Slough, London, Windsor and surroundings!

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

Deliver F&B service of a high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.

Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction

Full responsibility for the hotels Bars, Restaurant & Events space.

Take control of the stock holding, rotation and ordering of all Beverages.

Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations and build on guest loyalty, and interact with guests to ensure expectations are being met

Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit with the F&B Manager.

Delivers daily briefings and attends other food and beverage meetings as scheduled.

Prepares for service by ensuring the departments equipment are clean, outlet is ready for service and guest comfort.

Direct day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance

Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints and concerns.

Train and develop the food and beverage associates, Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Design promotional material which is aimed at increasing revenue, covers and profit for bar with the approval of line manager.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

Previous experience within a similar role within a hotel environment

Strong background in food and beverage outlets, restaurants.

Strong communicator and team management skills

Organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast moving, and demanding environment

IT Literate

Fluency in English
