This role sits within our Concessions division, catering for customers at visitor attractions. What you'll be doing...

As a Head Chef you will be proactively managing and supporting a catering team as well as creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Recruiting, training, supporting and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, customer and client
• Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
• Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
• Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues
  
  

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7. 40 hours per week.

About The Role
Preparing, cooking and serving food at a busy customer site.

You'll ensure the provision of a high standard of food quality, preparing, cooking and presenting food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy and safe environment. You'll also supervise a small team of staff and be responsible for meeting budgets and managing cash.

You will be working 5 days over 7, 07:00 to 16:00 and 11:00 to 19:00 on demand roster, 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis. There are enhancements for weekend works.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification - e.g. Food Hygiene Certificate
• Diploma in Professional Cookery minimum Level 2 - e.g. C&G 706/2
• Experience of contract catering
• Flair and imagination as a chef
• A good understanding of cost control
• Good team-working skills with a flexible approach to work, and strong leadership skills
• Clear standard DBS
• To be flexible
