Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a personalised experience for all guests.
Event Coordination: Work closely with event coordinators to deliver top-notch food and beverage services for private events, weddings, and special occasions.



What We Are Looking For:

Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a senior role within a high-end hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing, motivating, and developing teams to deliver outstanding results.
A passion for food and beverage with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues at all levels.
Experience in budget management, stock control, and understanding of cost-effective practices in the F&B sector.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Previous experience in a luxury or prestigious setting is highly desirable but not essential.

Fleetwood Heights is a Harbour Healthcare Home, 'Caring, fun and family-run!' The home is purpose-built and situated right in the heart of the local community, close to local bus routes. We have a happy atmosphere and reflect the approach the team takes to residents’ happiness and wellbeing.

Summary of Position:

We are in search of a Chef/Cook to join our team, full time, including some weekends. The successful candidate will have culinary and management experience, be responsible for kitchen functions including ordering supplies, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation and cleanliness, and supervision of employees.

Duties and responsibilities (although this is not a definitive list):


Support the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals and snacks throughout the day in line with our residents’ preferences and dietary needs e.g. diabetics, texture modified food, vegetarian



Stock management and ordering supplies
Menu planning
Maintain food safety checks and records as per company requirements
Ensure that you are aware of and adhere to company policy and procedures
Follow Health and Safety procedures
Ensure that all equipment and food service areas are kept clean and in excellent working condition
Work alongside the Activities Team to cater for special events taking place within the home.
Managing budgets
Oversee and ensure that employee supervisions are completed on a timely basis
Rota scheduling
