About The Role
We have multiple opportunities available for motivated Cruise Attendants / Waiters to join our team at Darwin Harbour Cruises. This position works on a rotating roster with most shifts from 4:00pm - 9:00pm, however this can vary depending on what we have booked for the week. In peak season, we operate 7 days a week, and in the shoulder months when ramping up and down, we operate between 3-6 days per week. The positions are on a casual basis.
As a Cruise Attendant / Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. Cruise Attendants / Waiters are primarily responsible for greeting and assisting guests, delivery of food and beverage services, vessel and passenger safety, vessel presentation and safety briefings.
We'd love to hear from you if you are a team player with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences! Previous food and beverage or fine dining experience is preferred, however if you can demonstrate an exceptional customer service approach, strong communication skills, a positive "can-do" attitude and are comfortable working on water, that's what really matters.
The ideal candidate will be passionate and proud of the food and service they deliver and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, determined to create amazing experiences and shape lasting memories. You will be a team player with a demonstrated positive "can-do" attitude and have the flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
To be successful, you must hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, and have the necessary working entitlements to work in Australia. You will also be able to work flexible hours which may include weekends, public holidays and extended hours.
A pre-employment medical and National Police Check may be required as part of this recruitment process.
