Job Responsibilities:
• Menu Innovation and Cost Management: Craft and continually refine menus, balancing creativity with cost-effectiveness. Oversee food and labor costs, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Culinary Excellence: Monitor and uphold the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation, ensuring each plate reflects our high standards.
• Collaboration and Training: Work closely with management and staff to discuss culinary processes, imparting your knowledge and demonstrating cooking techniques to enhance team skills.
• Food Preparation Mastery: Lead by example in the preparation and cooking of our signature dishes, especially focusing on wood-fired techniques.
• Hygiene and Safety Leadership: Champion and enforce strict hygiene and safety regulations within the kitchen to maintain our commitment to health and safety standards.
• Team Development: Engage in the selection and training of kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
• Innovation in Preservation: Explore and implement methods for food preservation, enhancing our menu's diversity and sustainability.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
