The Job Company Job Opportunity for Indian Chef Hiring on behalf of RIVERLAND INDIAN RESTAURANT Position: Chef Location: 110 Renmark Ave, Renmark, SA 5341 Employment Type: Full-time, with potential for a permanent role Salary: $74,000 + Superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week About the Role: RIVERLAND INDIAN RESTAURANT is looking for skilled Indian Chef with a minimum of 2 years of work experience. This full-time role offers the chance to showcase your expertise in Indian cuisine and contribute to a renowned establishment. Key Responsibilities: Expertly prepare all menu items, focusing on authentic recipes and flavors. Plan and organize food preparation and cooking processes. Monitor food standards, quality, and presentation, particularly in Tandoor and other Indian dishes. Estimate food and labor costs accurately, minimizing waste while maximizing revenue. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with OH&S guidelines. Oversee kitchen operations, including opening and closing procedures. Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain a positive work environment. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance kitchen efficiency. Ensure all equipment is maintained and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all workplace safety, fire, and security protocols. Requirement: Australian PR/Citizens are encouraged to apply Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience is required. Strong Culinary skills with knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques Excellent organisational and time management skill Ability to work under pressure Knowledge of food safety regulations and OH&S.
