About the role

This role supports the Restaurant Manager in the development and delivery of excellent front of house service at Rochdale Town Hall’s new in-house restaurant, The Martlet Kitchen. The postholder will be tasked with delivering a coherent operation, which attracts new and returning customers, whilst always ensuring the service supports the wider strategic vision of the town hall. About the Role
The purpose of the role is to deliver the overall management and responsibility for the pastry section of the town hall kitchen, ensuring the production of high-quality pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods for both the restaurant and our functions and events programme. as a head chef you’ll inspire your team to go the extra mile for our guests, keeping expectations + standards high. you will be continuously coaching + developing your team to be the best they can be whilst driving performance and deliver amazing results
