Hawkesbury Lodgeis a 20 bedded mixed sex rehabilitation unit based within the Longford area of Coventry.

It provides inpatient recovery-based rehabilitation for adults who have been experiencing difficulty with maintaining their mental well being and living in the community. The residents may be admitted from the community or an acute inpatient setting, and through their journey with us are looking to recover the skills, roles, routines and right support to be able to live well.

The role of the Occupational Therapist is integral to the multidisciplinary recovery approach with the residents on their rehabilitation journey. The post offers genuine opportunity to influence and shape how things are done here.

To develop, provide and evaluate effective occupational therapy with the residents, and contribute to the maintenance and development of the therapeutic environment within the busy unit.

To work with the residents to identify, achieve and maintain interest in what they want and need to do, and help them continue to grow and develop their potential to the point that they can sustain it in a longer term environment.

The post is based within a multidisciplinary team of recovery support workers, psychologists, nurses, psychiatrists and the community Enablement Team. Professional supervision is from the Lead Occupational Therapist, the post holder will work directly with the Occupational Therapist based at the other rehabilitation unit and those within the Enablement Team. There are professional training opportunities in occupational therapy and sensory integration. The unit is part of a three year transformation program which provides lots of opportunity to get involved with various aspects of service development.

This is a training role within the Community Eating Disorder Service. This role is a 2-year fixed term appointment leading to a permanent Psychological Therapist post at the end of this period if the postgraduate diploma programme is completed successfully.

The post-holder will work within the service providing formal psychological interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. This intensive training post will equip the post–holder to provide cognitive behavioural therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E) to clients with a diagnosis of an eating disorder and related complexities for which CBT-E is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post- holder will work in the service for 4 days of the week using the newly developed skills whilst attending the training programme for the fifth day.

The area teams provide brief, evidence-based interventions at an early stage of need to children, young people and parents individually or in group settings as well as supporting the implementation of effective whole school and college approaches to mental health to improve outcomes and reduce the need for future more costly specialist RISE interventions. The current MHST clinical offer is based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT approaches), with CBT therapists and Educational and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners delivering within school and college settings.
• The post holder will support the governance, leadership and delivery of the MHST model within identifiedschool and colleges. This will includeconsidering outcomes and caseload flow so as to ensure as a service we are delivering a robust and continually improving approach, in order to promote the development, welfare and secure the wellbeing of children and young people and their families. The post holder will support the team in developing wholeschool and collegeapproaches to mental health.

· The post holder will have oversight of the supervision requirements and delivery to the team members ensuring that the MHST model is adhered to.
