PLANNING AND ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS: To plan and organise the day to day activity of the shift in the role of Nurse In Charge (NIC) and ensure key information is effectively communicated to ensure appropriate management of future shifts. To plan for/provide reports for defined cases in line with CPA/Clinical review process. When required, assist in the development and delivery of training programmes for staff/students. To support the delivery of a high quality patient care by working closely with the unit team to meet national and locally agreed targets for in-patient CAMHS. Adapt a flexible attitude to meet the needs of the service in line with day to day needs. PHYSICAL SKILLS AND DEXTERITY: Required to actively participate and at times lead on defined physical and occupational activities on an individual and group basis. Required to effectively and safely utilise a range of approaches in managing challenging behaviours which may include the use of restrictive practices in line with clinical presentation/risk for which the post holder is trained in. The post holder may be required to undertake a variety of moving/handling in line with clinical needs. The post holder will require base line keyboard skills.

Assure that integrated pathways are in place for service users who require treatment for their health needs relating to their addiction and that the clinical model is effective and in line with CGL policy and national guidance
Implement/maintain an immunisation and vaccination scheme to help combat blood borne virus (BBV) and other infectious diseases and provide advice and information to other professionals on BBV and the care of individuals with drug and alcohol issues
Undertake regular CPD and create an environment that encourages your team to learn and develop and disseminate information to your team from the senior operational and clinical management teams
Ensure that all clinical services are delivered to a high standard in line with national guidance and CGL policies, procedures and best practice adhering to CQC Essential Standards

• Understands requirements of order shift which includes receiving, processing, storage requirements and entry on medications into the carousel. Thoroughly understands Hazardous Drug Management as it pertains to receiving, processing and storage. Creates a thorough daily order and sends to the wholesaler. Monitors medication inventory to assure appropriate expiration dating of medications. Is available for annual inventory duties. Operates and can troubleshoot issues with automated technology (Automated Dispensing Cabinets, carousel, compounders, packagers, printers, etc.) in accordance to department standards and expectations. Is available on a regular basis after hours to assist with emergency orders.
• Recover medications that are administered or dispensed to indigent patients who are uninsured/underinsured. Manage and process applications to pharmaceutical manufacturers' Patient Assistance Programs for recovery of drugs administered/dispensed to indigent patients who are uninsured/underinsured. Build relationships with and act as liaison to physicians, patients and pharmaceutical companies regarding program systems and processes. Monitor and track value of medications recovered for billing and reporting processes. Routinely visit key contacts within the health system to ensure high level of service and assist in program participation. Educate physician, patient and drug companies on program mission, guidelines, requirements and appropriate referral. Extensive patient education/counseling to determine eligibility for assistance. Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist may work in ambulatory or acute care environments. Performs and is competent in Radiology under the direction of the Radiologist. The Technologist must be able to independently acquire the proper exam for the Radiologist’s interpretation. The Technologist is able to operate all radiological equipment in the proper setting. The Technologist is required to work with patients in age group specific environments: pediatric, geriatric, febrile, and acute care; adjusting technique and positions for optimal examinations.

Job Details:

On-call responsibility on weekdays and weekends
Call required with a 30-minute response time.

The perianesthesia registered nursing roles during phase I recovery focus on providing post anesthesia nursing care to the patient in the immediate post anesthesia period and transitioning them to phase II level of care, the inpatient setting, or to an intensive care setting for continued care,(providing a transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions).  Care for patients of any age undergoing surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, General, Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics to include spines, Podiatry, Dental/oral surgery, and Pain Management    

Required:

Associate Degree in nursing (ADN) required

ACLS, PALS required
