This post will be fixed term for 12 months. We have three posts available in Islington and three in Camden.

Suitable applicants for these posts will be Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, SocialWorkersor Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. PWPs will need toevidencethat they haveattaineda minimum of two years full-time post-qualification experience to meet eligibility criteria. All applicants who do not have a BABCP recognised core profession must enter via the Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes (KSA) route,and must complete a portfolio of evidence as per KSA guidelines.


Applicants will need to demonstraterelevant experience in delivering psychological therapies to adult clients. A knowledge of CBT and primary care experience would also be desirable.


Therapists will demonstratepersonal qualities that make them suitable for the practice of Cognitive and BehaviouralTherapies.





Successful applicants will work in our Islington or CamdenNHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (previously known as iCope) servicethreedays per week, seeing clients for psychological therapy.We are committed to providing an out of hours service,and the post holder willberequiredto work one evening per week (12-8pm).The post holder isexpected to work on site 100% of their working patter withsome opportunities to work from home as training progresses and by negotiation, aswellas in conjunction with service needs. On the other two days per week trainees will attend the training program that leads to a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT offered by Royal Holloway University of London. The trainingprogrammeis usually run in central London.

Trainee therapists will use Cognitive and/or Behavioural Therapy in line with the evidence base and NICE guidelines as their main therapeutic model.

The successful applicants will be highly motivated with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload with experience of working inNHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression(previously known as IAPT)services or comparable professional settings.

You will be training on the Children and Young People’s Psychological Training: Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents Course (ITP-A) and carrying out clinical work within Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS in West London NHS Trust to complement the studies with clinical work.Kindly see our Candidate Pack for further details.

This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the trainee role with H&F CAMHS and the UCL Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy in order to be shortlisted.As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. This full-time training will begin in January 2025 with around 2.5 days a week for academic work (teaching and personal study), and 2.5 days based at the service seeing clients related to training assignments.

Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.

Back On Track (H&F NHS Talking Therapies) are offering several places on the London-wide NHS Talking Therapies for trainee Cognitive-Behavioural Therapists. Please note this role will involve working with the adult population.

We are recruiting High Intensity CBT trainees to join Croydon Talking Therapies. Postholders will spend three days a week in the service and over the other two days, they will undertake the PG Dip in CBT course at Royal Holloway University of London. There is an expectation from Royal Holloway and Croydon Talking Therapies that successful applicants will stay in their posts and complete the training which will last till early 2026.

We are a large IAPT service (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and currently have over 100 staff. We provide a full range of NICE recommended step 2 and 3 interventions for depression and anxiety including CBT, IPT, Counselling, and EMDR. We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time band 5 Sexual Health Nurse to join our team in our level 3 ALL EAST sexual health service, providing integrated sexual health. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic nurse who wish to pursue an exciting career in sexual and reproductive healthcare.

The post will be primarily based at the Ambrose King Centre at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.

Main duties of the job

The Sexual Health Nurse post will provide training to enable the successful candidate to provide care for patients with sexual health and contraceptive needs, delivering treatments and vaccinations that have been prescribed or through the use of Patient Group Directions (PGDs). This will include the provision of HIV Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and subdermal implant contraception. Training will also be provided in microscopy.

The post holder will also provide chaperoning, support and assistance for patients undergoing examination, treatments and procedures by Doctors and Nurse practitioners.

A Vacancy at Barnet, Enfield & Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.


Haringey CAMHS are looking to recruit CWPs to continue to improve children and young people’s mental health services in Haringey. The training forms part of the service transformation initiative delivered by NHS England as part of the Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) programme.

This is a training position post holder will undertake training at Kings College London alongside working in service for Haringey CAMHS. They will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holder will use their newly developed skills to support children and young people who are referred into the service and trainees will receive supervision to support their professional development.

Schools-based Work Be supervised, supported and assessed as a trainee then qualified EMHP to assess and deliver outcome focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Develop skills in supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, and their parents/carers, families and educators in the self-management of presenting difficulties. Developing and practicing evidence-based skills under supervisory support of working in partnership with children, young people, their families and educators in the development of plans for the specific intervention and agreeing outcomes. Developing and learning the skills required in order to enable children and young people in education, and where appropriate parents/carers, to collaborate and coproduce their own agreed plan of care. Show evidence in a variety of forms that at all times assessment and intervention is provided from an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects diversity. Discuss with supervisors and agree to accept appropriate referrals for children and young people in educational settings, according to agreed local and national and local referral routes, processes and procedures. Under supervision, undertake accurate assessments of risk to self and others.
