Job Responsibilities and key duties: Clinical practice: To deliver a high standard of patient care as an advanced clinical practitioner in general practice, using advanced autonomous clinical skills, and a broad and in-depth theoretical knowledge base. Use expertise and decision-making skills to inform clinical reasoning approaches when patients present with differentiated and undifferentiated presentations. Making use of skills in history taking, holistic assessment, identifying risk factors, physical examination, problem-solving and clinical decision-making, to establish a diagnosis and management plan. Initiate, evaluate and modify a range of interventions which may include lifestyle advice and care through the use of health promotion, health education and screening. To prioritise health problems and intervene appropriately, including initiation of effective emergency care. Recognise and manage anaphylaxis within current UK Resuscitation Council guidelines. Perform practical basic life support procedures and techniques within current UK Resuscitation Council guidelines. Work collaboratively with multi-agency and inter-professional resources, developing, maintaining and evaluating links to manage risk and issues across organisations and settings.
