The Service Delivery Manager for Digital Health Records will support the running of a professional, comprehensive and efficient Digital Health Records Service and provide professional advice to service users. They will work closely with the Lead Digital Health Records Manager and Service Manager, Digital Records & Admin developing systems and procedures to meet the changing demands upon the service.

Directly line manage the Digital Health Records Managers on all sites. Ensure all tasks are completed effectively, efficiently and on time. Support with the management of HR processes and procedures. Work with Line Management on Digital Transformation projects and support change management.

About the role

The Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, while driving best practices across our diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong safety culture, managing HSE policies, and implementing environmentally sustainable solutions, while utilizing advanced technology platforms to streamline operations. Responsibilities

• Maintain key industry accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, Compliance Chain), ensuring compliance and timely renewal.
• Develop, implement, and continuously review health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant UK legislation.
• Utilise technology platforms to manage documentation, audits, and reporting for health and safety compliance.

Experience

• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent

KEY DUTIES
• To provide skilled nursing care and advice to patients in their own homes and elsewhere e.g., residential homes to undertake a comprehensive specialist assessment of patients using research to underpin their practice

CLINICAL & PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Registered practitioners who are non-medical prescribers are accountable for their prescribing activities by ensuring they are aware of their Professional accountability and any restrictions or special considerations in their prescribing practice
• Maintain and utilise advanced clinical skills to analyse and interpret history of illness, presenting symptoms and physical findings to enable diagnosis, planning and treatment of the patient
• To implement nursing care as per care plan as discussed with the Team Manager and to make accurate observations of the physical, mental, social conditions of the patient and / or carer
• To implement care based on research and from any post registration course undertaken

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure patient records are kept up to date and accurate and recording is done in line with Trust policies and procedures

TEACHING & TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure that their skills / knowledge is up to date and that continuing education and development is paramount to practice

What does the role involve?

In a modern, well-equipped environment with a multi-disciplinary approach to care, you will provide the operational management to ensure that the service is patient-led and performing well. You will allocate resources effectively, oversee the training and development of staff and play a part in delivering care plans for individual patients. Your skill set will be a 1st or 2nd level nurse registered with the NMC with either formal renal nursing qualification or substantial Haemodialysis experience. Additionally, you will also have experience of managing others, counselling patients and understanding the role of the Care Quality Commission.

Lytham St Annes/Clifton Dialysis Unit operates 24 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 112 patients, in partnership with Royal Preston Hospitals NHS Trust using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA’s on each shift.

This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts between 6.30am to 11.00pm Monday/Wednesday/Friday and 6.30am to 6.00pm Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.
