Key duties and responsibilities include: You will be the link between gtd Urgent Care Services Face to Face and the Medical Director as the subject matter expert on all things relating to gtd Urgent Care (face to face). You will be the lead clinical link for all our digital innovation developments and work with the Clinical Safety Officer. You would be expected to undertake training to ensure appropriate skills are acquired to support the Clinical safety Officer. You will be part of an Associate Medical Directors Team to ensure that safe and effective patient care is delivered across the gtd footprint. You would be expected to work with the AMD Primary Care, AMD CAS, OOH & Digital Health Services to explore Urgent Care Face to Face and its potential to support all gtd Services. You will be supported in developing your leadership and management skills. You will take medical responsibility for attending relevant governance groups and participate in incident and complaints management. You will support governance agenda ensuring that there is a process in place for clinical audits for Urgent Care Face to Face. You will support the Clinical Effectiveness agenda. You would be responsible for reviewing / auditing Emergency Department interface, Treatment Centre and Urgent Care/Treatment working. You would be responsible for local performance management discussing any performance concerns with clinicians on a 1:1 basis. You would be responsible for the system of clinical performance review that identifies any issues, as well as further targeted measures with individuals who fall below levels in auditing/monitoring performance. This may include, but not exclusively, issues with the productivity of GPs/doctors where concerns had been raised. You would be responsible for escalating to GP Adviser's and the GP Advisors Forum. You will be required to attend specified meetings giving feedback to the Medical Director ad hoc and at 1:1 meetings with Medical Director. You would take responsibility for the Implementation of learning following incidents internally or those shared by partner organisations within the Alliance. You would ensure gtd healthcares representation at the clinical reference group. Working with the Clinical and Senior Operations Team, you would ensure that all requirements for successful CQC reviews are met. You would be required to be part of any recruitment initiative to ensure optimal medical staffing in all our gtd Urgent Care Face to Face service ensuring that our workforce planning agenda is met for this service. You will be responsible for the line management of all gtd Urgent Care Leads and support them in the line management of gtd Urgent Care Face to Face Services and relevant clinical staff. You will provide professional supervision, guidance, and support in the completion of job planning. You would be responsible for working with external agencies e.g. ICB, PCNs etc. Other duties: Any other duties, as agreed with the line manager to meet the needs of the organisation. This may include travel to other sites within the organisation.
