Organisational
The post holder will:
• Undertake a major clinical role in assessment, review and treatment to the adult population living in the community within West Norfolk. The role is based within the Swaffham, Downham , Fens and Brecks Therapy Teams, you will be based at Swaffham Community Hospital but you would be required to provide support to the teams across West Norfolk as required.
• To plan, deliver and co-ordinate therapy interventions for patients of a higher complexity across West Norfolk
• To be responsible for Continued Professional Development (CPD) and Personal Development Plan (PDP) for members of the therapy team.

Clinical
The post holder will:
1. Undertake comprehensive therapy assessments of patients including those with a complex presentation, using investigative, analytical and clinical reasoning skills, and inform the development of a differential diagnosis.
2. Formulate and execute individualised therapy management and treatment plans of patients including those with a complex presentation, in collaboration with the integrated team, other agencies and the patient, utilising a range of treatment skills.
3. Be aware of Assistive Technology and make referrals for this as required.
4. Assess patients’ holistic needs, communicating complex and sensitive information to patients and carers as to their assessment, diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan.

Three new exciting opportunities have arisen to join an established team of Community Children’s Nurses in Birmingham. This is a city wide service that offers specialist nursing support to children & families with a variety of complex physical health needs.

We provide clinical interventions to children within their own homes, schools and other community locations. The service operates seven days a week and also provides an out of hours ‘on-call’ service.

If you are an experienced Children’s Nurse with excellent clinical skills, have advanced communication abilities you may be who we are looking for to join our busy team. This post will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop rewarding therapeutic relationships with children & families in a community setting.

The successful candidate will be required to work in conjunction with the Children’s Rapid Response Service whose aim is to prevent a hospital admission and the Children’s Palliative Care Team in supporting parents, carers and children with life limiting conditions and in the terminal phase.

The post holder will be responsible for a defined caseload of children delivering high quality nursing care according to agreed standards which are set and monitored.

1. Work in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Practice and Scope of Professional Practice. Professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all activities.
2. Provide comprehensive evidenced based and skilled nursing care to children within their own home and/or other community settings.
3. Ensure assessment, planning and delivery of holistic care is of the highest standard utilising an agreed nursing model.
4. Work in partnership with children, families and carers to provide optimum individual outcome acknowledging children and family’s personal preferences and lifestyles.
5. Liaise and work in collaboration with acute services, primary healthcare team and other agencies when planning and implementing programmes of care.
6. Provide the clinical lead in care packages funded by the Community Complex Care team when allocated to the Community Children’s Nursing (CCN) caseload.
7. Provide health education information to the child/young person, family and carers to promote a healthy lifestyle through health promotion activities as required.
8. Plan and participate in teaching packages to families and carers to ensure evidenced based care is delivered.
9. Advise the Team Leader, Clinical Lead or Service Manager of any circumstances which give cause for concern in relation to patient care and/or any concerns raised by the primary healthcare team or partner agencies.
10. Undertake home visits to children registered with GP’s within Birmingham as required.
11. Undertake home visit risk assessments to ensure safety during visits especially those during unsociable hours.
12. Obtain informed consent from Children, Parents and Carers prior to undertaking care.
13. Maintain clear, concise and contemporaneous records adhering to BCHC record keeping policies.
14. To be professionally and legally accountable for nursing practice and all activities.
15. Provide a flexible service to accommodate the working environment.

HEAD OF MARKETING (MEDICAL DEVICES)
BIRMINGHAM, HYBRID, WITH 50% TRAVEL
£85,000 + CAR ALLOWANCE

A growing medical company is looking for a Head of Marketing to develop and promote their portfolio of devices within both direct and distributor markets globally. This is a hands on role, with responsibility for a small team of marketeers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Head of Marketing you will be,
•Developing and implementing global marketing plans.
•Managing a designated budget.
•Developing clear product strategies for each region/ market.
•Developing a network of KOLs to support existing products and the development of new products.
•Liaising with clinical associations and teaching hospitals regarding products and associated guidelines.
•Accountable for all marketing activities for a section of the portfolio.
•Gaining insight into the market, competitor activity, and clinical trends across all product groups, in each of the key markets.
•Leading and managing a team of marketeers, taking ownership of developing and retaining talent.

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the Head of Marketing role, you must have,
•A degree of CIM qualification within Marketing or a related discipline.
•Proven marketing experience at a senior level, within medical devices.
•Proven experience building KOL networks and working with associations/ regulatory bodies
•Ability to lead and influence teams, internal and external
•Ability to demonstrate excellent understanding of marketing processes and product life cycle
•A proactive approach to travel nationally and internationally c50% of the time and attend the Midlands based office as needed (a minimum of once per week)
•A full, clean UK driving licence
