We are a busy Technical Services Unit within the Pharmacy Department at York Hospital. Our aseptic services unit is a specialised service preparing bespoke chemotherapy, Monoclonal Antibodies as well as some Parenteral Nutrition products and a small range of other IV products.

Suitable candidates would be required to work in a cleanroom environment where duties are interesting and varied. Duties range from cleaning, maintaining, and monitoring of the cleanroom environment and equipment and stock management of drugs and consumables.

Applicants must also hold GCSE’s in maths and English language (or equivalent) at Grades C/4 or above.

You will be required to participate in the aseptic preparation of medicines. This involves working at a pharmaceutical isolator preparing a range of intravenous medication. Full training will be given.

You will also be required to participate in the decontamination and disinfection of the aseptic unit. The aseptic unit is a sterile, clean room environment where the preparation of pharmaceutical products takes place. You will also undertake some environmental monitoring duties which are essential in ensuring that the environment remains in a controlled state.

There are also administration tasks to undertake as well as stock management activities such as stock checks, receipt of stock and expiry date checks. We are looking for a conscientious individual who will take a methodical approach to a task and who appreciates the importance of following procedures.

The entry banding for this role is either a Band 2 or Band 3. This is dependent on prior Pharmacy qualifications and experience. This will be discussed at Interview. Once fully trained and qualified the post will be a Band 3. This is a fulfilling role in itself but it is also a great steppingstone into Pharmacy with many different opportunities for career development.

The Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients complex mental health needs to manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes. Job Summary:

The Bromley Occupational Therapy Team is looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team over the winter period. This role involves working within a hybrid model to provide essential Occupational Therapy assessments, interventions, and support to residents of Bromley, with a focus on maximizing client independence and facilitating safe hospital discharges. The successful candidate will conduct assessments in client homes, deliver equipment recommendations, and provide tailored advice to improve mobility, safety, and independence for Bromley residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Occupational Therapy Assessments: Conduct home assessments to evaluate clients' needs, recommend equipment, and plan for minor adaptations that maximize independence and safety.
• Moving and Handling Assessments: Evaluate clients' handling needs, identify suitable equipment, and work towards reducing care requirements where possible.
• Discharge to Assess (D2A) Support: Collaborate with the D2A OT to streamline hospital discharges, assessing needs, and ensuring smooth transitions from hospital to home.
• Adaptation Planning: Assess and plan for major adaptations, liaising with contractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to meet client requirements.
• Triage and Suitability Assessment: Support the team in triaging referrals and identifying appropriate services, including OT, reablement, and other suitable pathways for client support.

Essential Requirements:

• Professional Registration: Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience: Substantial post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with experience in community-based assessments, reablement, and hospital discharge support.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in conducting comprehensive moving and handling assessments and recommending equipment for independence enhancement.

Beauty Merchandiser – Flexible

Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and using detailed planograms to update the stand (attention to detail)
Moving and installing new parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals/graphics
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.


What will I get in return?


Training: Provided in full and you are paid – This will be in December and paid before Christmas
Work: Assignment basis, under own supervision



Travel: Regionally, 50 to 80 miles of your home
Location: Field Based – working in various high street retailers
Hours: 8 hr days
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour plus expenses (fuel/parking etc.)
Equipment: Uniform, Company van (for business use only), and PPE are all provided where applicable
Flexibility: Work when you are available on a variety of projects

About NELFTs Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) NELFTs CYPMHS is for anybody aged between 0-18, living in Kent and is free at the point of entry. The service is also for young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of 25. The CAMHS Tier II and Tier III services no longer exist, replaced with an integrated CYPMHS. Any young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, (or any parent, guardian, professional or teacher of a child who is experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties), may access our service. Structure of Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) There is one Childrens Single Point of Access (SPA), a Neurodevelopmental & Learning Disabilities Service, eight Locality Teams, a dedicated crisis team and inpatient service based in Staplehurst These are located across Medway, Dartford, Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, South Kent (Folkestone & Dover), Thanet, Swale, and Ashford. What difficulties can be referred to the service? Mood and anxiety disorders Behavioural and conduct disorders Emerging personality and attachment disorders Psychotic disorders Deliberate self-harm and suicidal ideation Substance misuse with co-existing mental health needs (dual diagnosis) Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) - with co-occurring mental health needs Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) - with co-occurring mental health needs Neurodevelopmental disorders Prolonged bereavement problems All referrals to the service are assessed using a care pathways approach, developed in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance criteria (NICE) and based on a best practice model of treatment. Locality Team in Children & Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYPMHS) The aim of our CYPMHS is to respond earlier to children and young peoples needs in order to help prevent, reduce or delay the need for more specialist interventions. This transformation of children and young peoples mental health services has a clinical focus, integrated with local authorities to deliver a long term collaborative approach to planning and delivering services. CYPMHS focuses on emotional wellbeing as well as mental health and includes access to self-help tools and services based in schools and the community. The CAMHS Tier II and Tier III service no longer exist, replaced with an integrated CYPMHS. Training and support is available to other professionals and agencies. We are creating a modern service that fits with childrens lives in a way that best suits them. Key new features include a Childrens Single Point of Access (SPA) into the service, clear early signposting, and use of digital channels such as Big White Wall to access support and services. Each locality team have care pathways. Each care pathway is clinically led, with care pathway leads operationally managing all CYPMHS practitioners working in that care pathway. With the support of the team manager, care pathway leads are responsible for assessment, treatment and systematic outcome measurement in that care pathway. CYPMHS multi-disciplinary pathway workers and mental health workers may work across more than one care pathway in a locality team. Care pathways include; Mood and anxiety Complex Behavioural and conduct Neurodevelopmental & Learning Disability Care pathway leads and practitioners ensure that a high quality, timely, accessible and evidence-based service is available to all children and young people who need it. This means establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with wider social, health and voluntary services.
