PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals. About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our existing team in our Runcorn Distribution Centre.

You will be working within a busy warehouse supporting your team to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) that ensure we exceed our customers’ expectations. You will ensure all operations are carried out with a high level of attention to detail which is crucial to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a safe, secure and timely manner.

You will ensure all standards are in line with ISO, GPD, Health and Safety and MHRA regulations and guidelines alongside managing your local budget.

To succeed in this role warehouse supervisory experience is essential.

In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.

• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Primary responsibility is serving as frontline USDA manager for addressing phytosanitary concerns affecting agricultural trade.
• As a U.S. negotiator leads, participates in, or supports intensive pre-negotiation preparation and strategy development.
• During trade negotiations plays a major role in establishing and maintaining the tenor of discussions on phytosanitary matters for which APHIS is responsible.
• Point of contact between the Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) staff, International Services, Veterinary Services, Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), other Federal/State Agencies, and industry on trade issue management matters.
• Provides strategic advice to other trade managers in USDA, ensuring that trade policies conform to the international standards of the IPPC and NAPPO.
• Plans, coordinates, or conducts studies relevant to the analysis of trade issues involved in the management of APHIS programs.
• Serves as a resource person to APHIS in identifying emerging scientific issues and modem technical capabilities to be applied to phytosanitary trade issue management.
• Represents the Assistant Deputy Administrator/Director at meetings and conferences with other U.S. agencies, State governments, industry and producer organizations.
• Drafts, reviews and approves controlled correspondence concerning PPQ trade issue management.

• Participate with the District Manager and Deputy District Managers in the formulation of operational policies, procedures and programs including long-range goals and priorities for program activities within the assigned area.
• On an ongoing basis, determine the adequacy and accessibility of resources and information to enable subordinates to function together as part of a cohesive food safety team.
• Adjust work activities and schedules based on changing priorities.
• Oversee and coordinate review, implementation, and ongoing assessment of inspection and enforcement activities at meat, poultry, and egg products establishments in a defined geographic area.
• Identify public health or food safety issues, and direct activities of front line personnel to conduct inquiries or assessments, document findings, and take or recommend appropriate action.
• Supervise and coordinate the work activities of individuals or cross-functional teams of FSIS Food Inspectors, Consumer Safety Inspectors, Veterinary Medical Officers, and Consumer Safety Officers in an assigned area.
• Manage the workforce, conduct performance reviews, develop and mentor your team members, and address employee and labor relations issues.
• Provide leadership to employees relative to long and short-term tasks, duties and responsibilities.
• Utilize Agency information systems, reports, and analytical tools to oversee plant's compliance with HACCP and other regulatory requirements, and to ensure that inspection resources are appropriately focused on food safety priorities.
• Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of Agency sampling initiatives within your assigned area of responsibility.
• You will also review and render decisions on plant management appeals of in-plant level decisions and actions.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Constructing/shapes and repairs common orthotic/prosthetic devices from casts and/ or documents provided by clinician, such as repairs to custom foot orthoses and shoes, using a wide variety of materials.
• Applying prefabricated orthopedic devices including, but not limited to: lumbo-sacral supports, abdominal binders, cervical collars, wrist splints, arm slings, knee braces, knee sleeves, compression hose, ankle supports, trusses, non-custom in- depth shoes, over-the- counter foot orthotics with limited supervision.
• Contacting manufacturers to ensure that new devices or procedures may be transferred to commercial production without compromise of the principles involved.
• Communicating with all levels of staff, both clinical and administrative, as well as with patients and their families, to discuss all aspects of orthotic restoration.
• Fitting and applying a wide variety of orthotic and prosthetic devices utilizing established safety standards and infection control procedures.
• Selecting and interpreting the most appropriate guidelines in making minor adjustments to adapt the work to individual patients.

NOTE: This position involves a multi-grade career ladder. The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-12. At the GS-11 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence. You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-12. • Ensures the data integrity of identity traits associated with the Integration Control Number (ICN), and treating facilities of patients' electronic health records (EHR);
• Analyzes patient data, utilizing all verification resources and determining the correct course of action required;
• Documents analysis and action take in internal journal cases;
• Identifies, analyzes, investigates verifies and assists in the resolution of EHR's that have been involved in a Catastrophic Edit to patient identity;
• Reviews exceptions generated to the MPI by analyzing the data and determining the appropriate action to be taken to resolve the problem;
• Applies health information management principles and patient identity analysis skill sets to ensure that person identity integrity is maintained and improved where possible within the VA;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties include:

-Assures the sterility of the surgical field is maintained and all instrumentation and equipment
in play is used in a safe and efficient manner.
-Protects the patient from injury caused by chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources, and extraneous objects.
-Performs counting procedures to protect the patient from unintended retained surgical items.
-Participates in the Time Out process to ensure correct site, side, and level, and follows implant and
tissue/tissue-based product documentation, policy, and procedures.
-Manages the patient's specimens in the appropriate manner, administers medications safely and correctly, -Performs interventions to maintain the patient's wound and tissue perfusion at or above baseline levels,
and performs interventions to protect the patient from surgical site infection.
-Responsible for ensuring comprehensive documentation of all care provided during the perioperative experience is timely, complete, and accurate in the electronic health record.
-Responsible for knowing what reusable instruments, equipment, medical devices, or supplies are in use in the clinical area.
