About the Role:

Job Description

Provide direct quality peri-operative patient care in Major Surgery Suites (MSS), uphold professional standards through continuous education, supervision and development and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the peri-operative patient care in order to achieve optimum patient outcomes for surgical patients.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To process medication orders (i.e., collating orders from different sales representatives, typing of orders, printing of compounding worksheets) accurately and correctly before compounding activities

2. To carry out compounding of different dosage forms (e.g., creams and capsules) according to prescriptions and relevant guidelines (e.g., USP guidelines).

• Perform perioperative assessment of the patient for surgery.
