SERVICE DELIVERY Support, develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure services are effectively implemented and evaluated according to Trust policies, procedures, and guidelines. Plan, organise and monitor the administrative services of the Medical Imaging department by working on own initiative to monitor the workload and flow of activity, ensuring the smooth running of the service by prioritising the workload, workflows and implementation of new initiatives, with conjunction with the senior team. To advise the senior management team on issues regarding resources and staff Provide highly complex and specialist knowledge and understanding of data collection methods and influencing operational factors in order to compare and present accurate statistical data Critically analyse statistical information in collaboration with clinical colleagues to ensure reliability, accuracy and consistency. Assist in the forecasting of future activity in collaboration with clinical colleagues based on activity trends, taking into account of changes in clinical practice. Monitor quality of waiting list data input and take appropriate remedial action. Investigate and contribute to the response to written complaints. Organise basic audits and collect data to assist with the planning of changing services or organisational procedures. Develop and implement processes which support regular data collation to inform Service Performance including ad-hoc audits as required. MANAGERIAL/LEADERSHIP Responsible for the overall management of the administration and clerical staff employed in the medical imaging department. Provide leadership, motivation, support and developmental training to staff in managing the staff group effectively and efficiently, in accordance with Trust HR Policies and Procedures. Oversee the management of admin staff absence in liaison with Human Resources and Occupational Health Departments Carry out performance review interviews for staff ensuring that training and developmental needs are met. Critically analyse the replacement of vacancies and, where appropriate, re-design the staffing profile to meet the current and future changing service needs and to achieve service objectives and efficiencies. Participate in recruitment and selection process for administrative vacancies where appropriate, including all associated paperwork. Involvement in the resolution of and decision making relating to staffing issues, including involvement in grievance and disciplinary procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the Administration staffs working environment and practices conform to Health and Safety standards and that regular risk assessments are carried out with the appropriate follow up action being taken Promote and display Trust core values of care and compassion, dignity and respect, openness, honesty and responsibility and quality and teamwork in the discharge of duties. Identify relevant equipment needs for the department in conjunction with medical staff, and authorise as appropriate, including supervising the purchase of stationery supplies for administrative staff.

Provide personalised one-to-one and group-based support to individuals referred. Develop trusting relationships, giving people time and focus on what matters to them. Provide non-judgemental support and work from a strength-based approach focusing on a persons assets. Take a holistic approach, based on the persons priorities and the wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities. Work with individuals to co-produce a personalised support plan to address their health and wellbeing needs as required and access to local resources/services. Conduct proactive wellbeing calls to those identified as being at additional risk of social and economic vulnerability. Work with specific group of patients experiencing various mental health needs. Ward 2 Acute Frailty Unit is based in Tunbridge wells Hospital and consists of 26 short stay beds where elderly male and female patients undergo a holistic assessment of their acute medical and often complex needs.

The Unit also has a 8 spaced assessment area where patients are welcomed and then assessed to identify the most appropriate care plan. We work collaboratively with a range of specialties to facilitate clinical excellence and holistic care delivery with a multi-disciplinary approach.

Ward 2 has excellent medical cover, a designated Frailty Consultant, a dedicated therapy team and a Discharge Co-coordinator. All members of the team work together to ensure that top quality medical care is delivered and to facilitate effective discharge planning. The team also includes a Lead Frailty Nurse who works cross-site to help Patient flow in the Frailty Unit.



This post requires a motivational and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about Frailty Care. This post also requires an individual who is able to manage patient flow effectively on the busy Frailty Unit. You must be flexible, approachable, motivated, and hardworking and be able to use your own initiative, whilst also having the ability to work under pressure and to work alongside staff in the Emergency Department and Ward 22 to ensure the Frailty Pathway for our Patients is smooth and effective.

You will have the opportunity to to develop Management skills in this role, as you support junior nursing staff, while working alongside the Ward Manager to help develop the Team.

Administrators within the Health Visiting Service play an important role in ensuring that all administrative elements of the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to families with a new baby or child under five-years-old are co-ordinated and delivered effectively. Main duties of the role include: receiving and processing referrals, booking appointments, maintaining accurate computerised records of patients reports and letters, updating trackers and database systems. There may also be the requirement for Administrators to provide reception duties to enable the efficient delivery of services from Family Hubs and other community settings.



The Administrator role is varied and fast paced requiring a flexible and responsive approach, with the ability to deal with questions or issues that are challenging in nature. Administrators provide essential support to the clinical teams which includes providing administrative cover for the Health Visiting duty line on a rota basis which operates Monday to Friday 9am-5pm which manages both routine and complex information and guidance to families and colleagues internal and external to the Trust. Administrators also offer support with administrative duties associated with safeguarding workstreams which requires a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.

Administrators provide comprehensive administrative support to an entire team or group of people within a locality, which includes having a thorough understanding of the team’s operations and daily activities. Administrators oversee performance activity, ensure elements of the patient journey are co-ordinated and support short term projects.

Administrators are an integral part of service delivery and as such professionals in this position have excellent people skills, are great at multi-tasking and prioritising as well as being incredibly organised.

Salary is based on 40 hours a week, made up of 32 Hours gym floor with 8 hours of PT sessions. As your client base grows, you will drop your gym floor hours to maximise your PT earning potential of up to £39,108.16 OTE.

Whilst on probation all contracts will be a minimum of 24 gym floor hours, this is to ensure you earn a guaranteed minimum salary. Your earning will increase as you establish your PT clients and improve your earning potential.

PT sessions have a sliding scale, the more you deliver the more your take home earning potential is.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and resourceful person with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our Quality Assurance team. As the Pharmacy Assistant in QA, your role will be to work alongside the Chief Pharmacy Technician in QA and assist in the Quality Management System required to maintain the equipment and environment within the Aseptic unit. You will assist in carrying out the day to day monitoring and testing (both physical and microbiological) of the environment, processes and the finished products. You will be responsible for ensuring that where appropriate the findings are accurate and are reported in a timely manner.



You will be based at Tunbridge Wells hospital in Pembury. This position is for anyone with an interest in improving product quality through monitoring and inspection ensuring products meet specification. No previous experience is necessary as you will undertake specialist training from the minute you start. A professional career progression plan will be drawn up to help you gain more knowledge, progress within the role, become more confident and expand on your skills in QA. There will also be regular reviews to discuss progress and plan for the next set of actions.

As a Pharmacy Assistant in QA you should hold the required qualification and grades in Maths and English as set out in the job description.
